Great replacement for my 2600. Not sure if I would grab this over an 11th gen Intel chip if I was just starting a new build, but AMD's upgrade path made this a no-brainer for me. Worth the price for gaming.

It's amazing how powerful CPUs have become over the years. The 5600x strikes a balance between price and performance, although it may be better to opt for a 5600G (if you need integrated graphics) or a normal 5600 (as it's cheaper and roughly identical in performance).

What an amazing CPU. It gets all the games I want in great FPS and definition. Battle field 6, warzone, fifa, fortnite all runs amazingly. I have stress tests and it ranks hire than most more expensive CPUs. I highly recommend.

coming from a 1600 (i know i know) this was a much needed upgrade. im pretty late to the party here but this cpu still kicks butt. paired this bad boy up with a AMD 6650x and it runs any recent game flawlessly with high settings.

Amazing processor for the money. Definitely the best gaming CPU out there, don’t bother with the higher models in the 5000 series unless you intend to stream or do other content creation work.

I've bought 3 Ryzen 5 5600Xs over the last year and they handle everything I've ever thrown at them. No complaints. Probably the most bang for your buck processor you'll come across

Upgraded from a 3600 to 5600x. While the gains are marginal approximately 8-10% depending on benchmark, I am finding a much more stable overclock. Overall very happy with this CPU. AMD continues to do well with the Ryzen line. The 3600 isnt retired, Just going into a build for my son.

Got the hairbrained idea that I needed to swap to this CPU from my oem 5600g in an HP Omen... A bit of a sideways move, but I just felt it would be worth it for some dumb reason and in the end I am not let down. It went into the mix in a mid 2021 spec HP Omen 30L with a 3060, 48gig of ddr4 3200mhz ram and all fans converted to Noctuas with additional Noctuas added a year prior to the CPU swap. Just from the CPU swap alone I am seeing on average a 10% increase in FPS during demanding situations over the 5600G, and at the same time seeing 2-3 degrees celsius cooler than the 5600G. As I'm stuck with a 500w PSU and a case with crappy airflow at best - I am extremely pleased on all fronts.

Very very fast CPU. If you want to try out overclocking, this CPU can sometimes reach 4.8ghz all core (although I personally used PBO and Curve optimizer), and being part of the zen 3 lineup is one of the very fastest CPUs for gaming.

Got this 3 years ago and it’s still going strong. I’ve only got a 970 graphics card and I’m still able to run games like baldurs gate on medium settings because this baby does all the heavy lifting. I’m able to stream with only occasional issues on more heavy duty games but throwing down some graphics settings fixes it right up. Overall best purchase of my build. I’m glad I chose this to splurge on. Every other aspect of my build I’m slowly overhauling but this gets to stay because it’s served me so well and still can compete 3 years later (which in tech time is usually decrepit)

For me, this has been quite an upgrade. The processor replaced an AMD Ryzen 2200g. With the same video card, frame rates improved and overall experience with the games it was running just got a lot better. For the price, it seems like the best performance per dollar.

This is just such good CPU. This just claps Intel's lower back, even 11 gen ones. AMD did a great job, this is the best bang for your buck CPU wise.
