This CPU has handled everything so far from recent games to media creation. I have not overclocked it yet but I will soon, probably once I get a better cooler for it

I got this on sale for about $300. Have had zero issues with it, destroys everything I throw at it. The i9 9900k does perform better but for basically double the price it was an easy choice to switch to Team Red. Easy recommendation.

Love the AMD platform. 2700x is still a great value for todays market and you don't need the top of the line cpu's to stay competitive in gaming. Works great, love it

Never have I had issues with this product. Performance is about or better than a top notch i7. Great for gaming and pretty much anything you throw at it. Would recommend for anyone that is on their computer a lot.

I’m really happy that I decided to go with the 2700x as oppose to an Intel chip. The cooler works well and I’m getting great performance. Moving forward I will probably stick with an AMD processor in my GFs build

Booted the 2nd time I pressed the power button (power supply was not turned on) System board (470x) recognized CPU and memory, and I installed Windows. Runs as it should. BONUS, did not have to purchase a cooler!!

I did not plan on upgrading, motherboard died. I’ve long been an AMD fan, and still am after this upgrade. My system is running much faster; image render times are half of what they were before,

When Intel came out with the Core series they took the crown from AMD. Now, with Ryzen, AMD is taking that crown back. This processor is 8 cores / 16 threads and an incredible value.

Fast, easy to install, not much else to say. The included Prism cooler works well, runs quietly and can sport a rainbow of colors. Suitable for overclocking but not completely necessary.

The performance and stability of the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X has been truly impressive so far, as my system has been nothing other than FAST and STABLE - what more can you ask from your CPU??!!

AMD's Ryzens series are very good, I've been building custom rigs for over 20 years and when this is on sale its a great buy. If you need to update cpu this is a great choice!

Whatever your task is, this processor will accomplish it. Great buy, and great deal with Best Buy's price matching... 2 free games were a nice addition too

Good CPU. Used for gaming + streaming does the job great. I don't recommend using the stock cooler if you're able to buy a better one.

The Ryzen 7 2700x is a great core for high end, modern day gaming. very efficient with most games such as Fallout 76, Rainbow 6 Siege, and Elite Dangerous.

Fast & Furious cpu speed. No need for the 6 core 3600x the 2700x 8 core has 23% faster multi core speed and overclocked multi core speed.

Works great, multitasks like a pro, games like a champion. Runs at 36-46°c under load with no overclocking when cooled by my 240mm AIO radiator.

This is the best processor I've ever had. It's super fast and perfect for me since i'm usually in the middle of several things at once.

great processor. i will buy it only if i see it at a good price. the new one is coming out in July. Recommend only if the price is right.
