Blazing fast!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.8 cores 16 threads, runs cool on air cooling. Boosts to 4.5ghz no problems on a lower end Asrock board. AMD is really doing great nowadays. 100% recommend this cpu if you want a nice boost in speed over the slower 3700x.

AMD is really proving themselves over and over
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my fiancée as an upgrade to her old i3 3240 the difference was night and day, she loves it, we can play all the games that we want to play together with no issues, planning on getting her a VR headset soon, this is definitely going to be plenty for VR.

Excellent value with price match.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get this CPU for $330 which is the price of the slightly lower clocked 3700X. This is a beast of a CPU for such a price. I'm still an Intel guy at heart, but it's hard to argue with the facts.

Amazing, way better then expected.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10/10 would recommend. Was an Intel fanboy, but no longer. Handles everything i could ask for, and then some. Still haven't reached full potential would recommend over anything Intel on the market, best bang for your buck heading towards highend.

Great processer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First processor for my first gaming pc, the fan it comes with is more than enough to cool it. It overall runs very well and recommend. You don't need anything higher the 8 cores are enough, it would just be bragging rights at that point

over powered
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i went for a high upgrade from my old processor, this is worth the extra money from the lower grade ryzen 7 and much better bang for your buck than the ryzen 9.

Had a 3600
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I came from a Ryzen 5 3600 as the title describes. Just missed my return window as I noticed a bit of stuttering on Warzone and didn't see this on my main build (i7 9700K) switched over to this one and all stuttering is gone in game and also stays relatively cool and the wattage doesn't creep into the 100W range, which is what I thought would've happened given the TDP jump from 65w to 105w if I remember correctly. Great CPU overall and I'll take a few FPS hit for more future proof features like PCI-e Gen4

Good chip!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast processor at a decent price. Suits most gaming needs until.the higher end ryzen chips go down in price it's the best value for the power it provides.

Amazing CPU for the price point.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This processor is an absolute monster performance wise. Along with the very reasonable price, it's a no brainer to start with the 3800X when building out a new pc.

3800x huge improvement over 1700x
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked fantastic while I had it. Definitely a good upgrade over the 1700x I had prior. I was able to snag a 5800x, which is also a huge improvement even over the 3800x. Either way, happy with the performance and would recommend if you can get it around 320 like I was able to while it was on sale. Before I was getting about 100-110 fps with the 1700x and an Rtx 3080. The 3800x got me 10-20 extra on top of that.

Great CPU all around
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is a higher clocked (stock and boost) 3700x. The extra speed isn't really that noticeable unless you're running multi core / multi thread apps on the regular. For gamers, it's overkill - save $100+ dollars and get the 6-core Ryzen 5 3600 instead and use the extra money for a higher end video card. This CPU runs hotter than Intel btw, idle at about 42c, around 70c gaming with the included cooler.

Great Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice performance increase from my old computer. I did not quite realize how much I needed the upgrade. I was wanting the Ryzen 5 5600, but they are just plain unavailable right now. Got this for a little less. Overall, I think I have about the same performance as the newer chip due to this one having a couple extra cores.
