Absolute powerhouse of a cpu. I upgraded from a ryzen 5 3500 to the ryzen 7 5800x and it’s night and day difference.

Bought this as a stop gap while I wait for Ryzen Zen 5, don’t want to DDR5 upgrade just yet but needed more juice. Works perfect.

Used this in new build and it is FAST! Running windows 11 on an M.2 Gen 4 drive and Windows is running in 10 seconds! Never had such a fast computer!

Easy install, works great. I got this chip set for a build i was doing and it performs great.

Ive been using this now for the past couple months for gaming and editing. It does run a littke hot but once you have a good intercooler you will be fine.

Upgraded my build from a Ryzen 9 3900x/Vega 64 to a Ryzen 7 5800x/6700xt build for 1440p and could not be happier with the performance. As others have noted though this chip is a very toasty boi

Pretty much the best gaming CPU you can buy right now. I upgraded from a 3800x and my FPS jumped pretty high. I’m now pretty much never dropping below 144fps now with this CPU and my 3090 FE both of which I bought from Best Buy.

This processor is superb for gaming, but with one con: It runs much hotter than the rest of the lineup. I never expected to see temps of 90c being a norm with an AIO cooler, but here we are. According to AMD, this is completely expected. This is the only processor in the lineup that runs quite this hot. Otherwise, no complaints about the performance of it.

Great little cpu. I spent a long time debating between this and the 5900x. I haven't found anything this one can't do yet, certainly not complaining about the difference in price.

It is an amazing peice of gear and it is my first high end cpu and i dont regret it for a day

Ryzen is far superior in my opinion when it comes to pc gaming. This cpu is simply outstanding and amazing. Can’t come close to pushing this beast to its limits.

Great processor for what I needed. It came down to waiting for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D or getting this and I don't regret this purchase whatsoever.

Despite the negative thing’s i’ve heard about it , it runs pretty smooth on any game i have and definitely excellent for everyday workday tasks.

One of the best am4 CPUs for gaming no issues super quick definitely an improvement over my last CPU. Best buy was able to price match Newegg..
