Great CPU for gaming! Pairs well with the 7900xtx and a noticeable improvement with the 3d vcache. Fast response, great fps, and 0 issues! Only caveat is for the price if you can get a 9800x3d for around the same price or even a bit more, you’re probably better off just cost to performance wise. If you can’t however, this is still a great choice.

I recently purchased 7 7800x3d. Call of Duty runs very smoothly, with noticeably faster load times and stable frame rates. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this upgrade and would recommend it to gamers who want top-pier performance.

This is the one to get. After the price etc etc the device will hold up for many many years and pay for itself that way. Best marks for the price and our performs many newer options

Solid performance, easy installation. It competes very well with the new 9800X3D. The base temperature for the X3D line tends to be higher, so if you’re switching to this from an Intel chip be prepared for that. My cooling system of a Corsair H100i and 7 ML120 case fans maintain the 7800X3D at a comfortable 45-55°C under standard intensity gaming (WoW, FFXIV, Frostpunk, Overwatch), with high end gaming maxing out around 70-75°C (Baldurs Gate 3, Dragon Age The Veilguard, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring).

I switched from a Core I9 to this after it fried and I have not looked back. This is a gaming beast. It is not as good for running Windows but for gaming this is the best for your money.

Fantastic CPU, big upgrade from an intel 9700k and it was a massive bump for 4k 120 fps gaming and above. Dont listen to reviews that say CPU dosnt matter at 4k, it gives significantly smoother and consistent FPS and 1% lows than a CPU many generations old. Additionally, many people on a 4k monitor these days are doing up-scaling like dlss and really render at 1440p or 1080p where it matters even more.

Honestly imho, this is the best cpu for straight gaming. Sure, there are more expensive & higher core ones but that extra cache really improved my 1% lows. This review is after a year of owning & still going strong!

Works just how I wanted it to, It worked perfectly in my custom built pc.

Did what i hoped it would do. Had 5600x but wanted something stronger. Moved from AM4 to AM5, to future proof a little. Do Iracing and Msfs 2024 primarily. Using same gpu, fps picked up some, but what impressed me more was on how smooth computer ran, using my Quest 3. Lets see what the future holds.

Great cpu. I got it paired with 5070 and a x870e mobo and works really good. High setting on 1440p i get 200fps easy
