Moar cache. Moar IPC. Stable DDR5 memory controller (after bios updates). This thing can do everything. Love it. Finally upgraded from my 8600K @ 5Ghz.

Extremely powerful CPU when it comes to gaming which was my main focus. Many reviews online point to this CPU when talking about the best gaming CPU in the world at the moment

I bought this CPU for the fact that all 3 of my best friends who were Intel fans made the switch to AMD, and guess what I'm sold on AMD for the foreseeable future! No problems whatsoever!

Speedy fast boi. Super high frames no matter the title. Helps my older GPU work harder to push more frames that used to be inconsistent. Now Vsync is always locked at its cap.

This is one of the best CPUs on the market for gaming. If you have a high end GPU it is a must buy. Love the speed it can achieve with a good SSD and a RTX 4090. Sometimes Windows 11 loads up before my monitor even finishes turning on.

Last month I built my first PC, shortly after the 7800X3D was announced and reviews looked promising. Using the ASUS TUF X670E plus Wifi MB, EXPO RAM Kit. Build was working great! Performance was top notch, in the range of 180-200 FPS on WZ 2.0, 260+ FPS on Black Ops 4. Then I checked the tech news and saw on the same day I finished my build, this CPU is literally destroying itself on an ASUS motherboard. Long story short, Ive had no issues with this as of yet, and performace has been great using the latest stable BIOS that limits SoC voltage. If anything changes Ill try to update the review, but overall happy and highly unnerved to be using this CPU with the ASUS MB. Best advice, proceed with caution, although you really might be fine.

CPU runs great! I personally undervolted my CPU and it still was stable and ran great. When paired with the NZXT Kraken 280 the CPU didn’t get above 84 degrees C under Cinebench
