To many issues with this CPU and Asus Motherboard. Other Motherboard makers have fixed the issues but its a slow process. JUST get a different one for your own sake.

They repackaged it and when i attached it to motherboard it gave me red light cpu error

inital benchmarks are fantastic according to Linus and nexus, this is intended for gaming!! if you want to render videos and have a workstation go with a 7950, my opinion dont even think about Intel because AMD has what you need at better prices and lower wattttttts :D looking forward to putting this in my new build after using the 5800x3D (which is still amazing)

The first reviewer is an obvious Intel fanboy. This CPU is blowing much more expensive units out of the water. This is now the fastest gaming processor on the planet....enough said. If anything AMD was shady about the launch but that doesn't diminish the value in this processor. With driver fine tuning I think the 7950x3d will retake the crown but as of yet windows doesn't handle the "3d cores" correctly which lowers the score.

Followed Reddits advice. Almost every group I could find mentioned this CPU non stop. Did some research and pulled the trigger. This thing is amazing and performs well.

Great gaming performance for the price. Just gotta make sure your drivers and bios are all updated and know what in you're doing.

RIP Intel for another generation. Consistently getting big FPS boosts over my 12900K setup and much much smoother frame timing on AMD all while consuming less energy too. For the price to gaming performance, this is the king of kings.

This is the greatest processor ive ever used. It doesnt draw too much power, stays relatively cool and you can immediately tell you get what you paid for. Any bad reviews are intel fans or people mad about it being out of stock/scalped for a higher price.

Perfect processor for gaming. Performance is phenomenal in high graphic intensive games and temps stay in the 60-70 degree range with an AIO watercooler. Pair that with a 4090 and you have a beast of a gaming PC!

My 7800X3D is set with a PBO - 30 on all 8 cores. Allowing to reach 5GHZ as advertised and im using a 64GB DDR5 set at 6,000MT/s. You can get any capacity ram set as long as the speed isnt much faster than 6,000 it will work. Dont get intel speed ram with and AMD ryzen and it will work fine.

If you just game and do nothing else besides minir stuff on your pc then this is the best cou out right now.
