Solid cpu 10/10 handles every major title at 1440p with no issues

I wanted to upgrade my aging but still capable Intel 10850K system with a future proofed processor and motherboard. So I decided to go with an AMD Ryzen 7 and an AM5 motherboard with DDR5 6000 memory that should help me get through the next 4 plus years of gaming. The processor is quick and draws less power than my prior 10850K. Im happy with the processor and Best Buy’s quick one day delivery!

Coming from a Ryzen 5 7600X I saw lower and more stable temperatures. Both were/are being cooled with a 360mm AIO. This cpu rarely hits +70c. This cpu is being used for gaming applications. Performance wise what I saw was a much more smoother gaming experience. Less drops in framerates and faster loading times. This is paired with a RTX 4080 Super, they work great together. This is an excellent cpu, and for its price point it is unmatched. Worth every penny.

Runs cool and without issue. It's improved a lot of my games, frames wise. A decent upgrade if you the 9800x3D is just that bit too expensive.

This CPU will last me years. Just upgraded from my AMD FX 8350 that was over a decade old, and paired it with a 4070 super GPU. This can handle a 4090 no problem, it may be over kill for my setup but i love it due to the fact ill get many years of use out of it even if i upgrade other components.

Best for this money ! It’s a beast for high quality setup . My friend get stable 550 FPS in CS2 with RTX 4060 . It’s insane

7800x3d is a beast, my 1% lows were amazing. The CPU does run a bit hot, so you will have to optimize your fans to make up for it. this often goes on sale and best buy was awesome to price match for me. Highly recommend.

Beast of a cpu for the money. 2nd only to the 9800x3d if you don't want to spend the extra money. I have both and can't tell a difference.

awesome cpu. went from i5 13600k to the 7800x3d. even though it's similar in speed, it made my games way smoother thanks to the huge L3 cache.

I upgraded to this from a 3700X and am overwhelmingly happy with the results. A straightforward upgrade in every aspect of performance. This does not come with its own cooler but it is compatible with the Prism cooler that came with the 3700X, although it probably needs an aftermarket cooler. I haven't gotten this one hot enough to throttle but it regularly gets into the 80s under load, which is more than I'd like.
