Amazing performance for the price! Best cpu for gaming, besides the 9800x3d

Good cpu for gaming. Upgrading from ryzen 7 5800x was definitely an upgrade. I bought this when it was 450 dollars. I’ve seen it going for 350 now and would recommend it at that price for a gaming cpu

A great cpu. Got it in May 2023. It is now December 2025 and has been awesome. Powers my RTX 4090 pc very well. No need to upgrade for a while.

Came from a 12900k. First AMD desktop cpu in over a decade. The performance of this CPU is insnae value. Paired with a 7900xtx there is no game i cannot run at a high framrate at 1440p. Absolutely destroys Call of Duty and Tarkov with ease. Extreamly happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

I'm extremely impressed by the solid performance, and I have been using Intel since I started building (10 years now). It probably has won me over to AMD now for the foreseeable future.

def a great choice for the generation and isnt too far to be considered overkill. all my games run flawless

Upgraded from 5900x to pair with my 4080, I've had it for 2 days so far and its definitely been worth the switch to am5, I did lower my SoC Voltage to 1.200v for ease of mind but for 1440p gaming my 1% lows and avg fps gone up noticeably just an all around amazing experience with this cpu so far

Best gaming cpu out there. Predecessor of the other 3xd’s but would be something you can buy for the best bang of the buck!

Been waiting for a great sale to upgrade my computer and hello Black Friday. Coming from an I7 8700 which was still fine, I’m very happy with my purchase. I purchased for 369 but also check Newegg and Amazon to see who has the lower price

Great CPU, Keeps cool under load. locked to 5ghz max clock speed but performance is great.

Amazing cpu, fast, not taxing and won’t overheat so no need for a heavy cooler

Fast and quick, needs a good AIO to go with it as it can get hot without one.
