This is quite interesting. I used too use a 3600x and then jumped to a 5950x now im at this beast of a cpu. Might be the last upgrade i do for a long time though. Works wonderfully

Runs my games like clockwork. Even a game as poorly optimized as Jedi Survivor can mostly run smoothly. Its not great for productivity work though, but amazing for games.

Excellent power unit. The only issue is that the PCIe cables were too crowded inside the case hence had to buy a separate Corsair 12VHWPR cable for my video card.

This cpu is absolutely phenomenal but the fear from am5 motherboards frying them has caused a level of stress that almost makes me wish I had gone with a non x3D chip.

Excellent price to performance in this generation from AMD, I have always been an intel customer but this generation I believe AMD really has the advantage.

It was faulty from the first day I installed. Even though it works sometimes it was bad out of the box. Takes long time to boot. Every motherboard I use it's give it the same yellow light on the motherboard.

Wont work with expo if you have more than 64g of memory. Not all memory can go expo above 32g either. you can go to msi and find the compatibility chart for memory. found this out the hard way. runs a bit hot. some have better luck. with 128 you wont get to run expo on any 5th gen.

I have been a loyal customer of Nvidia for years.
I am so pleased with this AMD 7800X3D that I will NEVER go back to Nvidia. Driver support has been amazing also! Thanks AMD!
