Very good, Easy installation, it works perfectly with MSI - MAG B650 Tomahawk.

Definitely a great upgrade coming from a Ryzen 3600x.

Don’t get me wrong this is a amazing chip, super fast, but I lost the silicone lottery and mine was defective

I know it would've been more then I needed for my new build but Best Buy sent me a 7950x instead so who really knows...

The CPU is amazing but don’t believe the free game stuff they offer. Best buy and amd are scamming you on that part. The code for the free game expired 1 day after I bought the cpu, you must have it insalled to redeem the code. Since I was building a brand new computer and didn’t have all my parts I needed it wasn’t built in time. You think after spending over $3000 in parts they would still honour it since I bought the cpu in time……nope. Really wish there was a micro Center close buy….looks like I’ll be using newegg from now on

Worst customer service ever. Roadie never picked up or delivered the order and now it is not getting refunded. This has been since May 1, 2025. I am disgusted

Got this chip to help me play games, when to install the chip and it had scratches on it and they would not let me return it.

The CPU is great - Best Buy & AMD do not stand by a contract to provide a downloadable game as part of the purchase agreement. AKA - "Digital Delivery & Service Details Waiting to be fulfilled Product Details Product Image For: AVATAR AMD BUNDLE" I received a download code from Best Buy but AMD did not honor that code. This is on Best Buy - I purchased my CPU from them.

DOA. Had to return, pretty disappointed in the overall experience.

Runs hot even with a aio cooler but has alot more going on from a 5800 amd

Great product but was supposed to revive a copy of avatar and never got it. Best Buy kept giving me the run around until the promotion ended.

To many issues with this CPU and Asus Motherboard. Other Motherboard makers have fixed the issues but its a slow process. JUST get a different one for your own sake.

They repackaged it and when i attached it to motherboard it gave me red light cpu error

inital benchmarks are fantastic according to Linus and nexus, this is intended for gaming!! if you want to render videos and have a workstation go with a 7950, my opinion dont even think about Intel because AMD has what you need at better prices and lower wattttttts :D looking forward to putting this in my new build after using the 5800x3D (which is still amazing)

Didn’t work bad product not much else to say don’t recommend

The first reviewer is an obvious Intel fanboy. This CPU is blowing much more expensive units out of the water. This is now the fastest gaming processor on the planet....enough said. If anything AMD was shady about the launch but that doesn't diminish the value in this processor. With driver fine tuning I think the 7950x3d will retake the crown but as of yet windows doesn't handle the "3d cores" correctly which lowers the score.

Greta cpu hands down, great service, easy and quick pick up.

Competes with the 7950X3D at most applications at 2/3 the price.
