No Real major problems with this one!. About the only problems I have had was tpm 2.0 issues with Windows 11 25h2 pro but I personally think it at least could be a microsoft issue to my knowledge anyways!!

The 9800X3D is hands-down the best gaming processor I’ve ever owned. The 9800X3D is widely known as the best gaming CPU out there, and for good reason. I upgraded from a 5800X, and I have to say, I was not expecting such an uplift in perceived smoothness during gaming. The 1% lows are just that much better. Only thing to keep in mind with this CPU is that it can run very hot. Running Prime95 I hit 85C with a very good CPU block on an open loop water cooling system with a ton of cooling capacity. During gaming it stays a lot cooler, but if you do a lot of productivity, be prepared to spend some good money on a proper cooler.

This is a good CPU and it boosts faster than advertised.

It's a good chip . Mine runs cool and holds an easy -30 undervolt with a 200mhz boost clock bump. I haven't tried going more agressive. Runs extremely cool compared to the previous gen. Value wise it's whatever. Current market is just painful for pc gaming.

As I'm sure you know by now, this is as good as it gets, from a pure gaming perspective. Sure, the 9900x3d is definitely comparable. But unless you're doing more than just gaming, you won't be making up for the price difference!

Overclocks nicely. Temps are definitely better managed than the 7800x3d.
