I upgraded from a 5 year old Intel processor. I read a lot about the AMD and decided to make the switch. Not regretting it at all. This thing is fast.

Very happy with this cpu. I upgraded from a 5950x so I went down in core count but I’m fine with that. This CPU is the BEST gaming cpu at this time. I was able to really get a lot of extra performance but over clocking it. Would highly recommend if you have the budget for it.

lets go straight to the point! best X3D you can have in 8 cores! no sweat on games, especially paired with high end 50 series!! and atleast 6000 ddr5 runs cool and perform like a silent Beast! especially in 4k with proper GPU ! its 9800x3d!!

The fastest gaming CPU I have seen. Upgrade from the 7800X3d and saw on average about 10% increase over the 7800X3D. Also productivity gains, around 10-18%.

I upgraded to the 9800x3d and it is well worth it for 1440p gaming if you play games like call of duty or Fortnite. Especially e sports titles as well, being able to overclock it is also amazing.

I has been with Intel for so long and this is the first time that I tried AMD and definitely are the best for gaming.

One Month in and this CPU is working absolutely fantastic for me. The internal GPU helped out alot for troubleshooting when trying to setup the designated GPU and monitor. Currently in a MSI MAG X870E motherboard working with a Corsair DDR5 32GB (2x16) 6000MHz RAM, Samsung 9100 Pro 4TB (x2), and a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU.

The AMD 9700x3D is a absolutely blazing fast game eater, my new build I knew I wanted a RTX 5080 and needed a CPU with the power to match it’s performance, the duo is a monster at gaming and of course can handle everyday computing flawlessly, and more demanding tasks like software compilation / build and coding. Pair it with 32GB of 6400mhx DRR5 ram and it’s unstoppable.

Handles everything I throw at it, but it runs a bit hot in an small form factor PC.

Best CPU I've ever had. I stream, and play games, and the processor runs smooth as butter despite the load I run when streaming. Cannot recommend enough. And I used to be an intel girlie.

Ive been a intel gamer the whole time ive been building pc's i decided to go with amd this time and the x3d chips do not disappoint, high fps and seems to be stable when overclocking. This paired with a 5080 is a beast of a rig.

Won't go back to a non-x3d. Very good upgrade and Bestbuy pricematched it after i bought it. Awesome value!
