I got this cpu for mainly gaming. I was reluctant to purchase this as iv always had intel. So far so good tho. No issues besides the slow boot times compared to intel.

with all the current issues of intels new cpu line i decided to try AMD again after 20+ years. AMD did NOT disappoint! Im not overclocking yet but at stock specs this thing has been ROCK solid and quick. With amd's new cpu's being marginally better than this and the quality and speed of it im betting this cpu stays in production longer thn expected. You wont regret this over the version, i stressed about my choice and have no regret at all.

I ended up upgrading from my 7800X3D to this for best of both worlds and it doesn't disappoint. When I game, I just go into my BIOS and shut of the non X3D CCD and I have a super binned 7800X3D when I need the extra horsepower. I do this so I don't have to deal with Gamebar or project lasso. When I'm finished, I just pop back in and re-enable it. Performance is top notch and paired with my 4090 and a 4k 240hz display it is letting me play my games with silky smooth frame rates.

this CPU is incredibly fast and able to take me from 20-40 FPS on Helldivers 2 (with a 3090ti gpu) to 80-120 FPS with the same gpu. i decided to go bigger than i’ll ever need so i will enjoy the benefits of a better CPU for years. Online purchased which was incredibly easy to deal with- i went to my location, showed ID and was given my product. In and out which is perfect for me.

After building a new PC with the focus mainly on my CPU as the games I play are highly CPU>GPU dependant, I can safely say that the 7950X3D is a reliable beast, though other options are cheaper, the extra buck you spend here is definitely felt in terms of performance.

Ryzen CPU's is second to none. I knew when I was in the process of building my new gaming pc, I was going with the Ryzen 9 7950X3D just for the pure performance it will be able to dish out. Especially with the 8 cores for 3D processing. Will getting 200 fps or higher with this baby.

Great super fast processor. Installation was easy and it also performs great overcloaking. it is also a great for cpu mining

It's handled everything I've thrown at it with no issues. My main use is gaming. I read that it's supposed to run at 95c so sometimes my AIO cooler fans ramp up. Once they get going, it doesn't stay high for long. Just look up a video on good AIO coolers for the cpu or a comparison. I have probably one of the less efficient ones and it works fine. It's almost pointless to go with anything other than liquid cooling for this CPU. They're power houses that get hot. Putting in the CPU kind of felt like I was going to break something. It had been a while since building a PC. The way AM5 sockets are is the cpu has pads and the motherboard has the pins that make contact.

This has been really great so far. Upgraded from an i7-7700K I've been using for about 7 years that was feeling a bit sluggish. This 16 core beast crushes everything I've tossed at it so far. Multiple programs running at the same time and it doesn't skip a beat.

Fast processor. Easy to install More bang for your buck than Intel.

This is a great processor. I was building my new PC and the video card I ordered was going to be delayed in getting delivered. However, this processor was able to handle displaying and installing everything so when my video card came in, it only took a few minutes to get up and running.

Have been using it almost a year. Amazing performance with very capable ability to hold a work load and multiple processes.

I am a gamer and have been using Ryzen 9 for a couple of months. This can handle a heavy overload so the CPU delivers the fastest gaming performance. I am very happy with the product and looking forward to updating it whenever I can. This comes at an affordable price.

Well worth it, has performed exceptionally. I have a 7800x3d in a different machine and I’d say this is just as good if not a little better

Works really good in my gaming pc build with 2 ccds I’m able to allocate the first to gaming and 2nd to non gaming task everything feels snappy

Upgraded from 5900x. It performs well, perhaps not as snappy as I thought a top tier cpu would.. but I can’t complain. It hasn’t been the bottleneck gaming … so all in all I’m happy. I probably should have gotten the 78003dx. Cheaper and for whatever reason has better score gaming.

I upgraded from a 7900X to this 7950x3D and I've noticed better performance when it came to gaming and using Davinci Resolve ! I love the AM5 Platform and their top of the line CPU does not disappoint. Its pricey, but worth it for the ultimate experience.
