This is my 2nd 9950x, upgrading from a 7950x while the price is right. This chip runs anything i want to do extremely well weather its content creation, or just gaming. Remember, overkill is underrated. I'm running this on an x870e platform but, i know first hand this works well on the X670/E as well. Remember to pair this with the fastest and lowest latency memory you can.

Very, content with this new Pcu! Very simple install and runs greats with my new custom build, I also just bought a nice 5060 for this guy!

bought this little guy to go into my new build (paired with an asus rog strix x870-a motherboard and an rtx 5070ti gpu) and it’s a nothing short of a powerhouse. i game and stream with ease and have yet to run into any performance issues whatsoever. everything is so fast and smooth. couldn’t be happier (‘:

Installed in my PC last week, runs beautifully, no bottlenecking performance with my newest gen GPU

I wanted to build my first high end gaming/workload pc. What I really needed was alot of processing power to run multiple VMs while also being a power house in the gaming field. This checks all the boxes. This is the sweet spot between a threadripper and a 9800x3d. Highly recommend.

No matter what you throw at this processor, you will be extremely happy of how well it can knock out tasks super quick. I've edited video files on the whim and nothing else matches the performance of this processor from AMD!

Great Price for a 16 core processor that mwrches through whatever you throw at it. I play a lot of intensive games and stream from time to time and this processor has no issues keeping up with the workload without need for a secondary streaming computer.

I know everyone wants a 9950x3d but TBH my gameplay is just as smooth especially multi tasking with two monitors LG OLED 44.5inch. I run all my games at ultra or high, ultra on most game titles. I have a 4070 ti super and I can run ray tracing at high or medium on most games. Having this processor and my gpu I haven’t seen a bottleneck decently high end at great cost. Just my opinion but going from a 3060 to 9/9950 is a big jump.

Amazing performance. However, be careful if you've got an Asrock board. I've had 2x of these killed by Asrock boards. They've since released a BIOS update that should fix the issue.

For a new top of the line cpu the price and performance is very fair, only needs few couple bios tweks to operate in an optimal way so buy and install well informed
