I had this movie on my wishlist for a while, and to my surprise I was browsing at the store and it was on sale. I bought it right then and there and went home and watched it and it looked great, sounded great, and seeing as I got it for a great price I was more than happy. Kevin Spacey is a fantastic actor and the more movies I watch with him the more intrigued I am by his acting. This movie is unique and I recommend this for anyone who enjoys blu-ray, Kevin Spacey, or just an above par flick.

A little quirky, but very good story that unfolds in an interesting way.

The moment you see Kevin Spacey in the shower, you know what you are in for. A ranchy dramody movie that is memorable in every way. Spacey's acting is top notch. Annette Benning has never been better as the nagging wife with secrets of her own. I've never seen a movie like this that had me pulled in within 5 minutes. Watch it and you'll see why it won, I mean cleaned up the Oscars that year.

The first time I saw this movie I was blown away. It has so many motifs and themes to it that should give people things to think about the this world we are in today. Great script, acting, cinematography and debut from then unknown director Sam Mendes.

American Beauty is a great film directed by then- first time directer Sam Mendes (Skyfall, Spectre) and starring Kevin Spacey, Annette Bening, Mena Suvari, Wes Bentley, and others, this a must-watch.

I have always enjoyed this film. Spacey really shows off his versatility in American Beauty. The BD has great picture quality. The colors are deep and vibrant. Great buy for under $10.

The picture portrays the dark side of surburbia normally unspoken about until this film arrived. Kevin Spacey once again proves why he is one of Hollywoods best actors of all time.
