An interesting, light-hearted look at a circa 1958 California small-town teenagers' night before many of their lives change following summer post high school graduation. George Lucas combined 1950's era pop music with street machines cruising the town while weaving the conflicts and mischievous vignettes of several recent high school grads. Lucas accomplished a first with a music soundtrack blanketing the bold color scheme of documentary style shooting. Thanks in large part to cinematographer Haskell Wexler's keen visual work. Today's audience may find this a "boring" movie. It is a story you have to engage and stay with to have a chance to enjoy.

This Blu-ray version looks great. The story itself never gets old. A decent cast surrounded by a great soundtrack will never disappoint.

This is a throwback movie. It kind of remind me of the movie "Valentine's Day" where there are a bunch of different story lines going on, but set in the 1960's. This has a bunch of classic actors like Richard Dreyfuss, Harrison Ford, and Ron Howard.

Excellent picture and sound quality. Some older movies don't come out that well when they are transferred to blu-ray, but this one is great. This is one of those movies that's great to own, because you want to watch more than once.

Admittedly coming from someone who has enjoyed Star Wars, it was fun to go back to an early film from George Lucas . Highly recommend if you're looking for a film with a 60s aesthetic!

If you lived it, you already know. If you whippersnappers need to catch up on your grandparents--here ya go! And the much ignored follow-up "Graffiti 2" accurately shows how we changed during the turbulent 60's. Google '1968'...

I enjoyed sharing this movie with my children who'd never seen it before. I love the music and have the LP. It was funny to see the reaction my kids had to seeing a young Richard Dreyfus and Ron Howards.

What a great movie! I love that it is on Blu-Ray, but wish I could have a digital download with it, as well, as it makes it easier when I show films to my class.

Great, fun film with stars before they were big names.( all except Wolfman Jack!) a little nostalgia and great soundtrack are worth the purchase.

Been wanting to see this movie for a long time on Blu-ray. Now I finally had the opportunity to buy the Blu-ray. It's a nice classic by George Lucas set in the early 60s era and focuses on some friends, a lot of classic cars, cruising, and women. The bonus feature is rich in detail on the making of the movie.

This has always been one of my favorite movies. Had it on VHS and no longer have a VHS player, so I just had to get it on DVD!!

A cinematic masterpiece with a young, star studded cast. Along with some great music and cars.

You had to be alive back in the late fifties and early sixties to appreciate how real this movie is to the kids of that era. Lots of laughs.
