This is a great double feature BluRay DVD that includes American History X, and A History of Violence. Both are excellent movies, but note that they both include harsh violence and redemption. I use American History X in my Race in Criminal Justice class!

I only saw "A History of Violence" before picking this one up, and I love that movie thanks to Viggo Mortenson's performance (check out "Eastern Promises" as well; fingers crossed for a sequel). I watched "American History X" once I picked up this bundle and I was blown away by it. The film is still relevant today and is one that had to be watched by any film lover. As for "A History of Violence", I recommend watching that movie because it shows how great of an actor Viggo is and also showcases an excellent story with memorable scenes.

A movie about racism American History X may shock some but has a few lessons for us all. Didn't really care for History of Violence. It was too corny in parts mixed with violence. No humor here.

Good deal for fans of one or both moves. There are two blu rays in a single case.

First off, this review is about the movie "A History of Violence" since I have never seen the other: I'm going to make this short and sweet...if you haven't seen this movie, take my word for it, you gotta see this one. I consider this movie one of the best, my all time favorite. Be mindful that there are a couple of scenes that are adult in nature, but if you can overlook these what a movie you will be enjoying. Ok, enough of the movie, it has always been a pleasure to deal with Best Buy. For a big, national company, they get it; customer service, shipping costs, speed of shipping, all top notch. By the way, you gotta see this movie!

This compilation offers two great films in the Blu-ray format. They are involving stories that leave you at the edge of your seat waiting to see how everything unfolds. These movies have a dark and gloomy tone so they are clearly not for everyone, but if you're into those types of movies, these ones cannot be missed. The fault of these movies is the lack of bonus features although that is understandable because this is a compilation package.

2 Great movies in one. Looking to replace both DVD's with BLU-RAY, and saved monies. Well worth the purchase!

2 good, well written films for the price of one, American History X has some violent scenes but is also a well written film about redemption. History of Violence has some solid acting and a well written script.

Both quality movies with decent casts. American History X can be a little slow but still worth watching. A History of Violence is an interesting story with a plot twist.

Both movies are classics. I've wanted them both in BD format for a long time, and this two disc set was very affordable.

I love both movies! Can't go wrong for the price. Blu ray plus 2 movies ..I'm glad I purchased it!

2 solid films at one price, American History X is a cult classic for a reason and Edward Norton is at the top of his game.

i love the 2 primary actors, and of course who don't love ED HARRIS
