This season of American Horror Story is split into two parts, a slick in universe supernatural documentary and a messy horrifying found footage horror film. The transition between them is fairly well done. A must own for AHS fans!

Without going into spoilers, this season started off with a creepy yet captivating premise before gradually devolving into a mess by the finale. Recommended for fans of the horror genre but brace yourself for an unsatisfying resolution.

American Horror Stories is a well written series that continues to have original characters and plotlines that will keep it's fans coming back.

Season six plays like a creative writing assignment written the night before its due date. Why not push the timely "post-racial" American horror theme, pairing the powerhouse actors Cuba Gooding and Angela Bassett against the Roanoke ghosts? Instead, these incredibly talented actors are tortured not only by an unbelievable Blair Witch-like story line, but their stellar acting abilities are limited. In fact, the whole cast in season six is subjected to "school play syndrome:" too many roles and not enough character development. While the cast runs bloodied and shrieking with their cell phones recording each hatchet job, the audience loses empathy for them and their predictable, wobbly-lens deaths. Obviously, the AHS writers need to return to that house where good scripts are written--perhaps while cameras record their every move--and lock themselves in with a butcher of a good editor. This very seldom happens cause AHS are always solid and fun tv to watch. I still recommend this because I am a completest. Once you start AHS you are on til the very last one is made.

It’s different from other seasons with fewer episodes. But it’s still interesting.

This is a great show if you didn't know and if you're not watching this show then you definitely should!

This installment to the continuous series is definitely starting to show signs of losing its charm and intertainment. It still has several of the original actors; which is the only reason why the series is holding together .

This series is always a good watch. You don’t need to watch them in order either...

Wild & crazy story. Scary & a bit disturbing. A story within a story.

It's American horror story. There really isn't much not to like.

This has to be the most disturbing and gruesome of all the AHS seasons

Great show just sucks because the blu Ray came out.

I enjoyed this movie. I love the history about Roanoke and the murders that happened in the house. I thought turning the movie into a reality show was different, but refreshing. Plenty of scary moments. Love how they brought another character from different AHS to Roanoke. This show continues to connect itself to the AHS world.

Its not a horrible addition to the show. But definitely not the best one
