One of Bakshi's Finest Works

In this movie, Bakshi tells the story of four generations of a family, united in an interest in music during their respective time periods. The movie begins around the late 1800's in Russia, following one character's emigration to America, and following his descendants through the early 1980's. The movie provides a lot of reference to historical evens, as well as the various styles of music featured during the time periods. Kudos!

This is an animated movie of four generations of a family whose lives revolve around the music at the time and how they try to make it in the music business. I enjoyed the movie and the soundtrack.
