This movie was interesting and they picked the right guy to plan the closeted killing machine. He is a master at making himself look like a wimp, but was still somewhat believable as a butt kicker too. I think that they plot line has been pretty much played out through many movies like it. The older movie called the long kiss good night is an example of this type of movie. It is still worth a watch.

Mike a stoner that spends most of his time getting high and writing a graphic novel. What Mike doesn't know is that he was trained by the CIA to be a lethal killing machine. When the agency targets him for termination, his former activates, skills, turning him into a deadly weapon. Surprised Mike must use his new found abilities to save himself and his girlfriend from getting smoked.

A lot of people gave this film a miss when it was in cinemas, and I can't honestly tell you why. Eisenberg and Stewart make this a can't miss flick, while avoiding many of the pet peeves most people have about their acting. Supporting cast is memorable, story is solid, and the flick is an overall great time. Give it a look, you'll be happy you did.

This film was an unexpected surprise. I was interested in seeing the two leading actors in new roles, and was not disappointed. They both have range and depth. Initially, I was put off by the early scenes, but they were only providing the basis for an epic journey. The twists and turns which followed were amazing.

If I have to be honest I was slightly disappointed by this movie. After reading some reviews I expected a lot more from American Ultra. It's not that it is a bad movie but it for sure is not a movie I will remember. This film has all the makings of a really good action/comedy movie. It has the suspense and the shoot-outs with the completely daft plot that works somehow. The majority of the cast play their roles brilliantly, with Walter Goggins as Laugher easily being the cream of the crop. But for starters it just takes itself way too seriously, when their is meant to be a joke its delivered with way too much emphasis its just not funny. The whole killing people with spoons and dustpans should be a bit of a laugh out loud moment in the middle of a great gunfight, but its just too serious to really make you want to laugh.

Although certainly not a classic, American Ultra reunites Adventureland's Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart in a funny, gory and, ultimately, stoned view of the US intelligence community. Is it bloody? Yes. Is it gross? Yes. Is it fun? You betcha!

When this start you don't expect the turn it takes and make yet another actor as bad as can be, like Jack Richer or John Wick. This is unexpected so it ads another twist to the action. Girl friend (Kristen Stewart) is easy on the eyes as well.

I really enjoyed this movie. Lots of action along with likable characters made an interesting evening. The hero couldn't be more unlikely, and that's part of the fun. Definitely worth a watch or three!

Not a big fan of her but gave it a chance glad I did held me there watched the hole thing not a bad price either cheaper then going to the movies. I would recommend buying it add to your collection.

At first viewing, America Ultra can seem kinda slight. But it's a film that tends to grow on you until you realize you've watched it several times because so much of it is just fun.

Went into this movie thinking it was going to be more comic relief than dramatic action. It turns out the previews showed most of the comedy clips and it had way more action than comedy.

Entertaining attitudinal twist on the 'hidden talents' a la Jason Bourne genre, so if you like Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart you'll have fun with this one.

This movie may not be for everybody, but I really enjoyed it. The Blu-ray looked wonderful. It also sounded great. Also, you can get it with ultraviolet or on iTunes. Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart work together very well in this movie. The very basic premise of the story is that a sleeper agent becomes activated. You get lots of action, drama, comedy, entertainment.

This movie is funny and action packed. Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg compliment one another very well. Always enjoy seeing them acting together.

I little unbelievable, but entertaining. Not a top shelf movie, even Kristen Stewart's role was a little off. But still worth adding to the librar...

Very Fun fast paced film that was overlooed last year coming out in the late summer long after the big blockbusters have left the theatre.

Got this for a gift and went into it not expecting much. To my surprise this was a very enjoyable movie that I would recommend to anyone.

This movie was very different than what I expected.I did like it and told the crew that I work with that it was mandatory viewing.

American Ultra is basically exactly what you think when you look at the cover. It is definitely funny but in a totally unrealistic way

The movie was a little weak at the beginning, but got better as time went on... Overall, it was entertaining and worth watching.
