The Ameta handles basic flight surprisingly well under ideal conditions. It’s responsive and easy to get airborne, making it immediately fun for back yard flying. However, new pilots need to understand its limitations: • Wind Sensitivity: As expected for a lightweight, budget model, the Ameta is not steady in strong wind. It’s strictly a fair-weather flier, and pilots should bring it down immediately if conditions get gusty. • Range: The operating distance is limited, offering a reliable signal range of about 100 to 150 feet. This range confirms its role as a short-distance, line-of-sight drone. Consequently, you cannot fly too high or too far, which is actually a safety feature for beginners. • Flight Modes: It includes helpful, beginner-friendly flight options like circle fly (for simple, automated cinematic shots) and hover (to maintain altitude, making learning easier). The transmission exhibits less lag than many competing cheap models. While not instantaneous, the delay is minimal enough to provide a decent First-Person View (FPV) experience when streaming to your phone, allowing for confident flying within its 150-foot range limit. The Ameta Fly Cam is an excellent entry point into the world of drones. It’s packaged smartly with two batteries, ensuring you get double the flight time ( total 30 mins ) right out of the box before needing a recharge.

I glad I went with this drone. My kid is 10 years old and it definitely made his Christmas. So far he’s only been able to fly it twice because the weather hasn’t been that great, but this drone hovers perfectly and flys so smoothly. Connectivity to his phone was very easy and displays an awesome picture of what the drone sees

Overall, I'm very satisfied with its price-performance ratio. It's perfect for beginners. Takeoff, landing, and hovering are all very stable, and it's easy to control with just a little practice. It comes with two batteries, which is very practical. The drone is lightweight and portable. Its wind resistance is poor; it flies best in calm weather. Due to its light weight, wind may affect its stability. The camera image quality is acceptable. The 4K resolution is entry-level; don't expect professional-grade video quality. I gave it to my child to play with, and he loves it.

Excellent drone for beginners. It is a very good toy for my son. My son is easy to set it up with no problem. The camera is Excellent, and my son is easy to control it. The return-to -home function works flawlessly. Great budget drone. Highly recommended!

The drone is light and easy to carry, and it’s simple to use - just one button for take-off and landing. It’s a great choice for beginners like me. I had no problem learning how to control it, and it’s a lot of fun to fly.

It was a great gift since it was a birthday present for my husband it was more than we had expectations he longed for one and it was a good purchase I recommend it

I use this drone as a scout, before I fly my WISPR Ranger. Good for quick flights that does not require unpacking the larger drone unless necessary. The charging light on both batteries do not work, but I rely on the display on my phone to determine amount of battery remaining. Pretty responsive with the controls, with minimum lag. Would buy again

I bought this drone just to try it out and ended up enjoying it more than I expected. It’s easy to fly, even if you’re new to drones, and it feels stable once you get the hang of it. The camera is good enough for fun photos and videos, and seeing the live view on the phone is pretty cool. Having two batteries and a carrying case makes everything much more convenient.

Great starter. Easy set up. I like that you can use your phone for the camera but it does tend to make the controller top heavy when attached. Love the shots and view it allows you to see when in flight. Easy access to video on phone.

I got it for my husband’s Christmas gift,and the screen so clear ,easy up and down,so quite when it around,also easy landing and the price is reasonable,he loves it

This is a really nice drone for the price. It is very easy to control, I have had others that are difficult to control. It has a pretty good range and good battery life. Definitely recommend this one.

It was a present for my grandson. He said he loves it.

When we received the drone it was CLEARLY USED! Propellers were missing, and HAD SOMEONE’S VACATION VIDEOS ON IT! The problem is it wasn’t supposed to be used/ refurbished. This was supposed to be a BRAND NEW PRODUCT! The fact that it has someone’s vacation videos on it is a violation of privacy laws.
