I purchased this device to expand my wireless AC network upstairs so our bedrooms had internet connectivity. Before buying this I had to move my router between the upstairs and downstairs connections depending on where the majority of people were located during the day. The setup was very easy and now no more back and forth. It gets incredible speed too. I have a 75/75 Mbps internet connection and I am pulling about 85 up/down from both locations. Highly recommend this device if you are needing to expand your AC network. Just like most wireless devices you will periodically lose connectivity and have to unplug it from the wall and plug it back in to reboot it. If I didn't have to do that I would have given it 5 stars.

While the device works well to boost the signal strength so that it covers the entire house, a problem so far is that the range extender does not connect to the Internet on a regular basis. I am trying to work with Comcast to see why it doesn't pick up the Internet connection after being cloned to my router.

We were having trouble getting decent wifi reception in certain parts of our house. After installing the Amped Range Extender, we have an excellent signal in EVERY part of the house! Not only that, the signal is way stronger so everything is much faster! I originally was going to get a Net Gear Extender since I've used several other of their products. But, the BB sales person suggested Amped saying it was a top seller. I can see why - it works great! I'm not saying the Net Gear wouldn't have worked just as well. All I know is this item works better than I had hoped. And, it was easy to install. 5 stars for sure!

This extender does the job but it is a bit tricky to set up. Required using a tablet not my desktop. No icon to go back to and doesn't seem to allow adjustments after install. Extended the range of my wifi through the house but goes off periodically and has to be unplugged and plugged in again to use.

I don't use this item anymore because the WiFi range on my modem is better than the one I had from comcast, but when I did use it, it worked very well. I basically had wifi everywhere on my property instead of just my living room and front porch. If you need the signal boost, you need this.

The product works very well. It took a few minutes to figure out all the possibilities with setting it up, but once you understand everything it works pretty good. Our main Wifi is in a back room, and so many walls around and blocking the signal that being someplace else in the house was nearly impossible to get a good signal. Since installing this, we can get a signal anywhere in the house, and even out back with it. Its secure as well. The only thing, which has NOTHING to do with this device, is that our service provider will continually change IP address or codes or something because every few days we have to reconnect the device to the Wifi again and it has to go through the process . Good product. Recommended.

Purchased this because we were constantly getting a dropped signal in our home from comcast's modem...this has been a great inexpensive way to make sure that doesn't happen anymore. Be sure to place it where the current signal is very weak so the two don't "overlap" and you will be very happy with great service.

Needed to extend coverage of a weak signal coming from an AT&T wireless router. Plugged this in halfway through the house and now the signal is just as strong in every room as it is next to the main router. Super easy set up.

Covers my whole house 4000 square feet two story. No dead spots. have the 1st floor using the 2.4 setting and upstairs using 5.0 setting. Wasted a lot of time and money on other units. wish I chose this one first

Easy to use and works great. Had great phone support when I needed it too. Occasionally have to unplug it and telling it in to jumpstart the signal boost but I believe that's caused by my ISP and not the device.

I tried a number of these extenders prior to buying this one and was disappointed each time. This one worked as hoped. Had a few issues with the instructions but their customer service support helped me navigate the install.

This range extender was perfect for our needs. My router is located in our basement in a room that has a corrugated metal ceiling and does just fine if your within a certain distance. However, the wife would experience signal strength loss when moving to the rear upstairs bedroom of the house and asked about extending the range. We headed to Best Buy where we picked up the Amped Wireless Range Extender. I wanted to make sure it was the same as our router so we purchased the AC1750. The directions were fairly easy to follow, nothing more than a folded "quick start guide," and as I read the instructions, the wife started the activation and set up using her IPad. Within a few minutes it was up and running, and following the directions to determine a strong signal from the primary router (plugged it into a wall outlet and got the solid green light), she was receiving a full signal in our bedroom--no buffering. Super easy!! I have switched over all wireless devices that are upstairs and am very pleased with the signal the Amped Extender provides. And we haven't received any slowdown in transfer speeds. Awesome Extender!!

Set-up is not super-easy, but set-up never is. Problems getting Samsung blu-ray players to connect, but I believe that is a Samsung problem. Does provide a strong signal once it's setup.

my wifi signal within my house was spotty, at best, and I could forget about carrying the signal outside.
Once I installed the wifi booster, full signal throughout the house, no drop off in signal strength when multiple devices are utilizing the signal, and best of all, I can go at least 50 feet outside the house and still staying logged onto my wifi signal.
Worth every dollar!

The amped wireless extender has worked well for our home. Most important it was easy to set up and customer support was great to work with for the one question I had. The product has improved our internet throughout our 100 year old stone home.
