The modem from Time Warner was not giving enough wireless signal. This device is allowing us to connect from all rooms now.

USED TO LOSE SIGNAL OUTSIDE THE HOUSE NOW WE CAN GET ONLINE ANYWHERE IN OR OUT OF THE HOUSE

Had to move close enough to get a 69% signal and now netflix and on line videos and all mobil devices work very well. Surprised other named brand routers do not advertise their transmission output. The 600 mW output convinced me to try it. Glad I did.

I bought the Amped Wireless Extender at the recoomendation of a Geek Squad member because we were getting buffering on both of our TVs (Directv) and we were told that it woould "boost" the wireless signal from our TimeWarnerCable modem/router. Well, we get HDX on one but still get buffering and have to go down to HD on the other to avoid buffering.

Bought this to replace old one that died. It works great for being on other side of house from main router, downstairs, and on other side of a brick wall. It's easy to set up and haven't had a issue. Only gave it four stars out of five because it's not the "best" or "fastest" but for the money it's great!

The range extender extended the signal but had difficulty with simple appliances.

Worked well after a firmware update. Does what it is supposed to do.

Tech support is great. Cd does not work with IOS for mac.

While this will extend the range of an existing wifi signal, it will set up another access point to do so. You will have to designate it specifically on your end device when further from the original router. Also, any obstruction significantly drops its range. For the money, I was expecting much more

System is very easy to setup and use. Has sufficient power to extend the signal for almost any environment under 5-6k sqft. Larger or more challenging environments use the higher power models.

Good extended router! I could not be connected upstairs without it!

This range extender not at working despite it is configured multiple times and ampred's signal strength is strong in my PC. I could've returned it back if 15 days return period is not exceeded. Its my bad.

I have regained connection with the digital community by installing this excellent extender. Guest room is now a family room capable of streaming, gaming, or wifi required activities.

The repeater is much better than I expected. I wanted wireless reception in an area about 50 ft from the repeater on the other side of my garage. The repeater provides flawless reception.
