The move was good but some parts are terrible. It was worth watching after all these years

It was kinda corny. Its more like a comedy than a horror movie.

Yet another money grab we just have to have. All new transfer. New objects brought to light. See things like you've never seen them before. Yawn. Bought the limited edition expecting a decent viewing experience of an excellent story and special effects. Popped it into my 4k player to watch on my 85" Sony X900F and lo and behold the picture quality is an utter shame. An embarrassment to the medium. Like watching through a swarm of flies buzzing behind a screen door. From the opening scene the grain literally blankets the picture from edge to edge. Any increased color fidelity or shadow detail is rendered negligible by the swath of filthy grain. Somehow, film traditionalists will extol the virtues of this catastrophe of a transfer. Much like they did with the box set of Donnie Darko that likewise suffers from insufferable grain. Don't buy the hype. If films like Apocalypse Now and Kubrick's 2001 can be brought back to glorious life with today's technology then movies like AAWiL prove for all eternity that a lousy original will beget lousy upgrades. This movie is terrifically entertaining but the video quality renders it utterly a waste of money. Rent it on your streaming service. Pick up an old copy of the last transfer. If you want this movie do whatever you want but avoid the dip, dip, and another dip of the movies multiple renditions only to be left with a grain-sodden junk of a transfer.

I decided to buy this movie on bluray because it was on sale for $9.99 thinking that it would be great to watch it again since it was a classic but when I was watching it on my PS3 I got very bored and fell asleep during the movie. I think it would have been better if they showed the werewolf more and less talking in the movie that is what a werewolf movie is suppose to be alot of blood, gore, violence but they barely showed the werewolf in the movie and the funniest scene was at the end where the girl tells the werewolf that she wants to help him because she loves him do you really think a werewolf will understand love lol I really don't think so I think I should have bought something else instead of this movie what a waste of a trip and money
