Everything about this movie is just extraordinary! A story line that draws you in, strong performances from the entire cast and just enough foreshadowing so that when the big twist is revealed (no spoilers) it makes a massive impact - and then you will want to watch it again right away - and then again later - and then again later... Even better in higher definition! If you have not yet seen this film, change that - right now! You will not be disappointed.

An Alan Parker masterpiece. An absolutely fantastic display of psychological horror. In my opinion DeNiro best acting performance after Raging Bull. Mickey Rourke as Harry Angel was off the charts. A film way ahead of its time.

A twisting gothic tale set in 1950's New Orleans. This is a movie you will never forget. Outstanding video and audio on the Blu-ray. A must have purchase.

This is a great movie, one of my wife and I's favorites! This film has gone virtually unnoticed for over 20 years, (except to the small group of movie buffs like us). Starring two of todays top actors Mickey Rourke and Robert De Niro, this psychological thriller will keep you guessing all the way to the end. This movie gets better every time I watch it! I highly recommend it! Also, some other similar movies I recommend are Devil's Advocate, Jacob's Ladder, and The Jacket.

This is a production that will stay with you, long after you've seen it. More than a mystery, it is also a morality tale. In addition to a well crafted performance by Mr. DeNiro, both Mickey Rourke and Lisa Bonet are at their respective bests. This is a keeper.
