They all come into play in the second season of "Angel", as J. August Richards joins the cast as street-wise Gunn. The stories grow more complex as Angel's long-lost love Darla returns from beyond the dust and the Angel Investigations gang find themselves in a parallel dimension with demonic lounge singer Lorne (Andy Hallett).
The "Angel" mythos continues to grow as Angel's battle against the evil lawfirm Wolfram & Hart thickens.

I was bummed when TNT took this show off their morning line up so I was glad when I saw the DVD set at Best Buy with their monthly deals. I considered purchasing this online but I'm glad I decided against it. It was worth the wait.

Angel was a great companion show to Buffy. Maybe a bit more on the darker side. Great writing and acting. Wish they did more seasons
