Posted .It has a 50 watt capability across the whole charging plug. You can get a max of 18W to your iPad (if it's a version that allows USB-C to lightning power-delivery charging). That will be fast charging,
Otherwise it is charging your iPad as fast as it can, as there is no iPad that is able to charge using a full 50 watts of power.

You will notice the difference between this format and the Qualcomm that require that the device have a Qualcomm chip so this feature works. So, for the price is a very good alternative to fast charge your Apple device.

It charges my phone and tablet at the fastest rate and it charges newer laptops with USB-C. Would definately recommend to anyone wanting an upgrade.

This is not at all my past experiance with this brand, so hopefully the store in the city i'm currently in will have one instock to exchange. However, prior to that, it was a great charger to use for my iphone and watch at the same time (iphone using oem C to lightning cable)
