There is a 5000mAh battery in case for when you cannot find outlet. Be certain to get high speed charging cable (~which is not included~) so that you are able to use fastest charge settings. Otherwise it will just be a premium wall charger and battery. ... it is a bit large (*but has 5000mAh battery) just not larger than old wall bricks and is same as wart transformer power supply (30W plugged/15W battery). About 1/2 size ps4 controller and same thickness.

The wall plug for my Pixelbook is already kind of big and bulky, so the size of this Anker charger isn't much different (although it is heavier, owing to the built-in battery). The dual output is another advantage over the Pixelbook charger. Charging is fast, and build quality is typically excellent from Anker.

Although this specific product is a little on the large size, it makes up for that with its features. I am able to get multiple charges on my iPhone and Nintendo Switch with one charge. The pass through USB ports are a nice addition for when the bank is charging itself. The only con I can think of is that the bank is a little on the heavy side. I have older wall outlets and it like to pull away from the wall when charging. Obviously this isn't an issue at all if you plug it into a power strip or charge it via USB.

Bulky, a little heavy

It is a nice concept when it comes to a combination of portable bank and wall charger. But, as wall charger, it is too bulky. As a portable bank, it is too heavy for a 5,000mAh capacity.

I leave this plugged in and am therefore always prepared for a power outage. (Note that manufacturer recommends that you discharge and recharge battery periodically.) Cons: Very bulky. And for something this large, it doesn’t hold as much of a charge as one would like—you won’t get two full charges of a device out of it. Comment: Full price is outrageous. Wait for a discount.

not worth the money at all at 5000 mAh

I would return this if I could but it was $13 after some best buy rewards. The larger one is $50 which is also way overpriced (some places charge $70 which is even worse). 11-06-2021

Efficient Charger, Best for Stationary Use

The unit charges efficiently, but I found it a little bulky if you want to put it in your pocket to travel with it. The Anker brand is known for superior quality and his product fits that mold.

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
- Let the charger sit for 5 min without being plugged into the outlet and without anything plugged into the charger itself. This resets the charger and might solve the issue.
- Try another cable and a different outlet.
- Try charging a different device.
