Anker iPhone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only used twice so far ….FedEx lost the package and took nearly two weeks to get it. So don’t know how fast it charges. Very disappointed that I then had to go out and lay down another $17.00 for the plug in USB C. $47.00 I won’t spend again

It’s a great little charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far the Anker Magnetic charging pad has been great. I just recently upgraded to the IPhone 13 Pro Max. When I opened the box I was very excited, up until I realized this charger didn’t come with the actual plug just like my iPhone 13. Lol. What the heck?! So, after making a trip to the store to pick up a plug, I know it sounds crazy but I didn’t have a USB-C charger end anywhere. I hooked it up and have used it every night since. The case that I have has no issues connecting easily to it. I love that I can easily pick up the phone while charging and still use my phone since it is smaller in size. It’s very easy to just unplug and throw in an overnight bag as well. One thing I wish it had besides coming with a charger end was maybe some type of indicator light to show that it’s fully charged from a distance. Nothing major obviously but would be a nice little addition. Definitely a great little charger pad for the price point.

Good alternative to Magsafe
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think there is a lot to like about this magnetic iPhone charger. Compared with the first party option, it has a longer cable at 5ft instead of 3ft which is a big deal, still uses USB-C at the plug end, and has a nice soft touch material where it makes contact with my phone. That soft touch material means I have not noticed any sort of indent being caused to my new leather case on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, which has been an issue with first party chargers. The magnetic connection is extremely strong, arguably too strong as I feel I have to forcibly pry it off to disconnect it from my phone every morning. I use it exclusively to charge my phone overnight, and it always has a full charge in the morning, so the fact that it is not a fast charger at only 7.5W has not been a problem for me, but it is worth noting. A similar complaint for the first party option is that it does not include a power brick either, but the lower price and longer cable make that omission more forgivable if not still disappointing. Overall, it has some distinct pros and cons; cheaper with a longer cable, but slower charging and a magnet that is a little too strong. A good option for what is ultimately a plain Qi charger that can use the magnetic connection MagSafe is known for, taking away the guesswork of making sure the device is properly centered on normal Qi chargers.

Fast charging, and well built
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a new iPhone owner, just got an iPhone 13 Pro. I've always wirelessly charged my phones, and originally planned on continuing to use my old wireless charging pad for the new iPhone. But it got annoying trying to get it centered just right. Luckily for me, the Magsafe magnets. I never saw them as a gimmick, but it wasn't exactly what sold me on iPhones. But I've come to love it, especially with this Magsafe charger. In the box is obviously the charging pad and a 5 foot cable. The end of the cable is USB-C which I love (I'm waiting for everything to move to USB-C, even iPhones). But at the same time, I have a bunch of charging bricks that only use the old USB standard. It doesn't come with a brick in the box. So keep that in mind when making this purchase. I used an old Google Pixel charging brick that has USB-C on it, and it's worked great. I'm not sure of the exact wireless charging specs of the new iPhone, but I can say that with this charger, it charges pretty fast. I keep this by my bedside though, so I typically only charge it over night. So I can't say how long it will take to get from low battery to full. My only minor complaint is the strength of the magnet. Admittedly, I have a case on my iPhone, but it is supposedly Magsafe compatible (Spigen case). The magnet snaps in easlly, but it also comes off pretty easily. It might just be by design of course, as the idea comes from the old Macbooks where if you trip on the cable it yanks the cable out of the computer and not drag your laptop to the ground. The top of it is made out of a premium fabric, which I prefer over just plastic (although it really doesn't matter). Since I use it on my bed stand, I wish it had a weighted bottom to keep it in the same spot, otherwise if can fall to the ground just like a normal cable does. I realize it isn't a stand or otherwise meant to be stationary (likely more for taking with you). But that's the convenience of having wireless charging pads, you stick them in a stationary place (like office, bedside, kitchen, etc.) where you can charge up when you need it. This is especially true since the phone comes with a cable, which I generally keep in my travel bag. In sum, it's a solid wireless charger. But it's a little superfluous since it doesn't come with a charging brick, and isn't really meant to be stationary by design. But it's certainly nice to have as second, or third, etc. charging cable for your phone to have.

Simply beyond simplistic and very easy to use.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is so great when you get a product that works exactly the way it claims it will work and this is one of those products. I’ve been using this Anker magnetitc charging pad for the last few days and it is simply beyond simplistic and easy to use. It doesn’t require much of your attention to ensure it is working correctly. You don’t have to worry about lining things up or even looking at the cable to ensure it fits just right. I’ve had my phone for a year now, but never purchased a magnetic charger because I didn’t think it was necessary, but I see now that although it isn’t necessary, it is extremely convenient. It works correctly every time and in just the last three days, I have come to rely on it to work correctly each and every time. The Anker Magnetic Charging Pad arrived in a nice small packaging box and was well packaged to ensure it wasn’t damaged when handled. The box is light in weight and so is the magnet charger. It looks like a small cup coaster. It is well made with and appears to be made of a nice grade material. It looks expensive and elegant. One side looks like it has a gray colored cloth-like material and the other side is a smooth matte metal similar to Apple’s silver laptops which looks like a gray silver aluminum metal. It comes with a long type-c five foot cable which allows for me to use it without attaching an extension cord to it. The cable also appears to be strong and sturdy and should last a long time without breaking. The magnetic pad is very strong and holds a tight grip on the phone in which it will not allow the phone to fall off without a tug. You’re able to charge your phone and still use it which is convenient. However, because it is a fast charging wireless system, it gets hot when it’s charging so holding it in your hands for long periods can be difficult. It can charge more than just your cell phone as I also placed my wireless buds on the charging pad once my phone was charged and they began to charge immediately. I plan to get a lot of good use out of this charger for many years. If you’re looking for a well-made magnetic charging pad, I would strong recommend getting this Anker magnetic charging pad as you will not be disappointed.

OVERHEATING ISSUES
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fine but im not sure if it's my iPhone 13 mini or the charger but every time I use this thing it overheats my phone. Like bad. I'm going to buy the official magsafe from Apple to see if there's a difference but yeah this thing gets hot.

Posted .Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We're really sorry you've encountered this issue!
If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
- What happens when charging the phone with its case off, as thick cases or cases with metal in them interfere with charging?
- What happens when charging with a different wall charger and cable? Please note our wireless chargers work best with a 5V/2A wall charger.
- What happens when you restart your phone and try again?
- What happens when trying the charger with another wireless-charging phone?
- Please confirm the phone is centered in the wireless charger
If those don't help, please reach out to us via support@anker.com or call us at +1 (800) 988 7973. We are more than happy to assist you further.
We offer an 18-month warranty for this product, plus lifetime technical support. Our standard for responding to email quests is less than 24 hours, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Best Way To Charge Your iPhone (12, 13)
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first MagSafe charger for my iPhone 12 Mini, and I can't believe I didn't invest in these sooner. The Anker charging pad seamlessly attaches to the back of my iPhone, and the fabric allows the pad to swivel/rotate without scratching its back. The 5-foot cable is plenty of length, especially if you want to keep using your phone while it's charging. As a matter of fact, that's my favorite part about the Anker PowerWave Charging Pad. Gone are the days of ruined Lightning Cables that we bend in awkward angles just to keep the phone charging while browsing the internets. I often find myself resting the Lightning Cable on my chest while I lay down, putting unwanted stress on the cable. The magnets are very strong to stay attached, but not too strong that you can't rotate it. With this rotation, you can essentially fish the cable in any direction. Charging itself is very fast, provided that you pair this with a 20W USB-C wall charger (not included). The only downside I found is that the charging pad does not come with a wall charger, and so you'll have to source your own. I was going to take off a star for this reason, but Apple is doing the same thing, so we can't fault Anker for following suit. Honestly, if you want to have a few of these in your home, it's going to add up really quick. Anker's offering is a bit more affordable than the Apple OEM MagSafe pad, and honestly I don't think I'll need to look at the OEM version if the Anker does the job for less.
