Didn’t consistently connect. Stick to native apple products

Fails to chatge my phone, piece of junk, don't buy.

Wasn’t sure I needed this, but I’m enjoying using it quite a bit as a travel charger that easily fits in any bag and - perhaps most importantly - has a long enough cable that makes it more useful to me than what comes in the box when you buy a phone these days. Really, the whole point of a MagSafe charger is to have a solid charger that allows you to easily use your phone while it’s charging. You still have to plug this type of charger in, so it’s not really radically different from anything that’s come in the past. The magnet is somewhat of a gimmick. But what’s nice about it is that it keeps the cable on the back of the phone instead of the bottom, which does indeed make it easier to hold your phone and use it while charging. But also, if you’ve used wireless charging pads at night then perhaps you’ve run into the issue where notifications cause the phone to vibrate and then you wake up in the morning to discover the phone’s no longer centered on the charging pad and stopped charging way before the battery was topped off. That’s not happening with a MagSafe charger like this. It’s staying put. Again, it’s not that different from just plugging in a lightning cable to the bottom of the phone. But I’ve never had a lightning cable that is this long and it’s great. It’s also easier to snap your phone on this charger in the dark than it is trying to plug a cable into the lightning port. (And, yes, this is something I do almost nightly because I always forget to check on thing on my phone after I’ve turned my lights off.) Cons? I wish the magnets were even stronger. There may be limits to this that have to do with things that would impact the electrical components of the phone itself. But I have a MagSafe mount in my car from another brand and the magnets on that thing are definitely stronger than on the Anker charger. That said, I am able to use it with a thin case that has no additional magnets in it, which is great. It’ll click in place solidly when I have the phone in this case, but it’s not too difficult to bump it off of the sweet spot either. I feel like slightly stronger magnets would make this even better. Anywho, ten dollars cheaper than the Apple charger and I’d bet the cable’s longer too. If you’re in the market for one of these I don’t think you’ll dislike the Anker.

I have used a lot of mag chargers for the iphones. This one is nothing fancy and really nothing to write home about, it is a USB C plug in charger, has a magnet that quickly adheres to a iPhone 12 or the new 13 even with a case on it (I have an otterbox) and it quickly delivers a charge to the phone and allows for wireless charging capability. Would I buy this again? Not sure..it beats the frayed wire old lightning chargers that Apple keeps selling, but I have used better mag chargers and this is no different than most.

I got this Anker - PowerWave Sense Magnetic Charging Pad to use with my new iPhone 13. It works great when I want to charge overnight while sleeping because I can take the case off the phone to ensure a good magnetic connection. When I have tried to use the charger during the day with (suppose to be) MagSafe compatible case the connection is not so good. If I leave them sitting on my desk and move the cord a bit the magnetic connection just isn't strong enough and it disconnects. It takes an exact line up and no movement to keep the connection strong which counters the reason for the magnetic charger in the first place. Also the Anker - PowerWave Sense Magnetic 7.5W Charging Pad does not come with a block to plug the 5ft USB-C cable into. I guess they figure most people have these lying around so why give you another one. When I do use the Anker - PowerWave Charging Pad it charges much slower then using the original cord and purchasing the 20W USB-C power adapter. To get the best magnetic charging connection I may have to purchase a new MagSafe case but I was hoping not to have to spend more on a new case. Oh well I will give it a try

It is definitely a magnet and it does charge the phone. Is it better than the other charges apple gives with a phone sale? Eh. You can talk and move around when it’s charging but I do that anyway with the 8’ charging cord I have. It’s one of those…is it necessary? things.

The wireless chargers I have are the qi desktop/nightstand ones where you place your phone on top and hope you centered your phone correctly. With the magsafe I don't need to wonder if the phone is centered with the charger because it will snap into place. In addition, i couldn't use my phone while in bed with the traditional qi chargers, but with this magsafe I am able to charge on my nightstand or use the phone while charging. if the cable is in the way I just rotate the charger until the cable is no longer in the way. The light grey cloth material on the charger makes it aesthetically pleasing to look at. The only area for improvement I can see is I think the cable should have been braided. If you want a solid magsafe charger for your iPhone 12 or 13, this will do the trick!

So I’ve compared this to standard plug in charging, quick charge plug in and standard wireless charging pad. And….. I really don’t see the big deal about the mag safe thing. The quick charger plug in charges your phone the fastest and if you have a wireless charging pad then you can leave on there while you sleep cuz it does charge it slower. But this mag safe pad charging speed is in between so i don’t see any ideal use for it. The only positive i can see is that you don’t have to find the port to plug the charger into or find the sweet spot of a charging pad. Which may be convenient for some people. For me, I don’t have any issues with it.

Pretty simple. Good, basic, charging pad. Worked fine on my iPnone 13 and 12 Mini. Even with cases on them. Required USB-C plug of course which I only have a couple of, but works great as advertised.

I got this for my wife. She has an iPhone 12 Pro and it always bumping it off her wireless charging pad resulting in the phone not charging because the contacts aren't just right. I didn't feel like shelling out for an Apple MagSafe cable, and I trust the Anker brand for charging accessories for all my iDevices. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but I found myself just kind of "meh" about this wireless, magnetic charging puck. From a design perspective, this looks like a lot of other magnetic or MagSage charging pucks. The disc is a generous size and the attached cable is a good length. My main gripe with the cable is that it terminates in a USB-C connection, not the more ubiquitous USB-A. I don't have as many spare USB-C power bricks and this thing also doesn't ship with one, so I was immediately at a disadvantage there. This also means that I cannot take it in the car with me, like I'd hoped. Our cars have multiple USB-A ports to use and not having the option to simply plug it in on the go was upsetting, especially for my wife who hates dealing with cords in the first place. Something important to note if your device is in a case - this isn't strong enough to hold firm on a case that isn't designed to support MagSafe accessories. My iPhone 12 Pro is in one such case and the magnet grips just fine on mine, but my wife's case does not, so the puck falls right off. It's a nice charging puck to be sure - but I'm just not sold on magnetic charging pucks that limit my usage right out of the box.

Well built charger with sturdy long cord and nice materials. Note that the peak speed is slower than the Apple charger but many times iPhones are not charging at maximum speed depending on their current level of charge.The magnetic ring works well through my silicone case and ensures that the phone will actually charge as it will be properly centered. Also with the magnet can pick up the phone file wirelessly charging.

I needed a charger for my iPhone 12 Max for traveling. This Anker Powerwave Magnetic charger was a good choice. It has a long cable and the device is attractive. My only issue is that it has a USB C connector. It would be better to have a dual option of USB C or the traditional USB connector as I have to bring a USB charging cube with me on the road. Most hotels don't have a USB C port and I don't always bring my Macbook on the road.

Fast and easy transaction from website to ordering to curbside pick up. Will buy other items from Best Buy. Prefer to buy at Apple Valley, Minnesota location.

Got the wrong one so I need to return it back so I’ve had to get a charger

Great alternative charger for the Iphone. Love it.

Good item, just had to go buy the block for it to plug into the wall.

this product is NOT case friendly so will be returning really can't comment on it's usability as it never connected to phone
