I have been eyeing the Anker Everfrosts since they first came out. I'm not a camper but thought they would be better than the traditional throwing ice in the cooler when we have people over. I finally bought one thinking I'd probably return it after my rationale thought process kicked in. We are having work done outside our house and figured it was a good way to test it. We stocked it with water and other various drinks at 37 degrees so the workers could have nice cold drinks as needed. The Everfrost 2 worked like a champ off the single battery. Even in 100+ degree heat the battery was able to last through the day, even when it was inadvertently left on the driveway which caused the Everfrost 2 to run under more strensous conditions. On a "normal" summer day the battery was at 75-80% by the time their day ended. The workers loved it and kept thanking us for the constantly cold drinks. We discovered other use cases for the cooler as well. During the summer we have a fair number of power outages (yay New Jersey), so we realized it would work great during those times in addition to our original usage scenario of when people are over and hanging outside. Is it worth the $1100 MSRP? No, but if you're able to catch it on sale it is worth it, even for us non-camper types.

i bought this several months ago and it is working well as expected. The built quality is excellent, motors are running very quite,i like that you can control it through an app. However, it is extremely heavy even when it is empty.

I buy anker everything if possible! This cooler is great, it maintains temperature. Has bright lights to see contents inside and lets you know if you don't shut the door all the way. The app is super easy to use and the item is very sturdy. My only issue has got to be the weight. I would not want to walk extremely long distances with food inside. But overall very good item!

First trip out, 7 day camping trip in temps 98-102 degrees. Main use was to keep drinks cold so we can put them into our boat coolers. Plugged in and in the shade it performed perfectly. Easy to get in and out, it's nice to have separate side to have different drinks or food and drinks etc. Size was big for say overlanding, but the right size for standard camping for a family of 5. Battery life with it being already cold and cold food/drinks is pretty good, but direct sunlight in 98+ degrees will zap the battery. On the last day with both sides around half full I unplugged it and started cleaning up to leave about 1.5 hours then loaded it in the truck where it was in direct sunlight for the 2:40 ride home. It was 30 something percent when I got home so call it 4 hours, but the direct sun is what drained the battery IMHO. The following day it was my daughter's birthday and I plugged it in and put waters in for the kids and it worked flawlessly and it was really convenient not to have to get ice. Overall, it's expensive so in order to justify it you will really need to use it. Part of my buying decision was the battery because I can easily plug it in to get it cold for a couple of hours, load it up and take it out for sporting events, kids sports, plug it into the cigarette lighter outlet while driving and then let the battery do the rest. I'm also going to use the battery separately to power my Starlink. Also, it does fit under my tonneau cover on my GMC 2500 which is a huge plus!
Soooo heavy. Nice and quiet. Seems to cool efficiently. Very expensive though.

I found it to be the best bang for the buck. You get a very capable portable fridge (and powerful), that will last many hours and if you decide you want more, you can purchase an additional battery rather than being stuck. The flexibility is nice.

One of Anker’s best products and I don’t say that lightly. The battery life exceeds expectations and even after a few hours of running on battery, plugging it back in both prioritizes, keeping the cooler running while recharging the battery at a respectable rate. Storage is excellent and being able to have just one side powered on is a boost. I highly recommend.

Yes, this cooler is expensive, but it is worth it. Having two different sides of the cooler is fantastic. You can set one side as a refrigerated temperature (33-40 degrees farenheit) and the other side with freezer temperatures (32 and below). The flexibility of temperatures on either side with the app control makes this cooler extremely convenient. No more soggy food.

The Anker Cooler is awesome. I purchased the 61 quart and I purchased an extra battery. The battery life is great -- I've gotten 2 days out of a charge. I very much like the no ice and water mess. I also like that you can set the temperature for each side and having a freezer if you wish. The cooler is expensive but worth it. I recommend this cooler.

The Anker SOLIX EverFrost 2 is a solid electric cooler that chills drinks and food super fast without needing ice. It has good battery life and even temperature control, making it handy for camping or road trips. That said, it’s pretty expensive for what you get—definitely a premium price tag

Having the temps set at 38 degrees I got about 28 hours with just one battery. That's with an empty cooler. Haven't used it on the road trip yet. I'll update when that happens over the holidays. App seems to work great also.

Overall well built. With 2 batteries lasted about 2 days at 80 degrees weather. If planning to take a long camping trip definitely need backup batteries and solar. I even made ice with it!!

This thing is heavy, but it works great and fits in the bed of an F-150 with a tonneau. Battery life is solid, and being able to charge off the battery is useful. Makes a great campfire companion.

I bought this for long business trips as I have dietary needs and it’s difficult to find food on the road. For those that are thinking of buying one, this cooler is a game changer and not just as a cooler for camping. This cooler is a fridge and freezer in 2 separate compartments. Or two freezers or refrigerators, whatever you need. We have found this to be great for party’s, weekend getaways, long trips in the car, tailgating, or even in the kitchen keeping some drinks cold or extra items fresh we didn’t have room for easily in the fridge. It is heavy for my wife but that’s just one more reason to keep me around! Overall, love the flexibility. No ice means no messy soggy food. The battery lasts a very long time and we are going to buy the second battery to extend it even further. Another hot tip is that we needed to have it out longer than the battery would allow, so I plugged it into a jacket box and kept it charged and back to 100%. Overall, we are using it more than we thought and love the no ice and battery life!

The quality is nice. Feels nicely thought out and def cools compartments down. I do feel like it could come with better handles and a cover that actually is intended to fit the cooler. It comes with 1 battery, it has room for a second and if you obtain an additional battery. You lose your storage for cords. I’m not sure if the AC cord actually fits in that spot, untested. We utilized one side as a fridge and the other as a freezer. The battery lasted approximately 5 hours before hitting 1%. So I’ll withhold my judgement on longevity as I’m still learning the best settings. This cooler I got for approximately $750. Normally $999. It’s not worth the full price, I think there are other brands that offer more accessories and similar quality coolers at that price point. If you can get it at a deal, I think it’s a contender. Pros: quality, space, versatile charging capabilities, fridge/freezer fast. Cons: no cover, limited accessories, clunky handles, 1 battery, lid opening is one direction.

Just got this cooler for a couple weeks. Love the versatility and the ability to customize each compartment to fridger or freezer. No more ice or draining the cooler after! Cools extremely fast. Down to -4 in less than an hour. Although inside may look small, not losing any space to ice provides ample space. Only small complaint is when i went to open the compartment for battery housing, one of the clips broke. Would expect much better quality from such a high end cooler. I've contacted anker/customer support already - still waiting for resolution. Other then that, great cooler!

so far so good, it does what it says it will do. Literaly plug and play. keeps and has everything cold with in 20minutes witch for me is impresive. and keeps it cold unplugged with one battery for 24hours no problems. you are paying for Quality.

Love every bit of this Electric Cooler! Love how it is portable because of the rechargeable battery. I used it when I also stayed at a hotel that did not have a freezer so I can hold on to ice cream in one of the compartments. I also used the AC adapter while being in the hotel to save battery energy when I am not outside without an outlet source. Using it to transport food that needs to stay cold during a road trip was the best idea. Just wish it was a little cheaper. Being able to check in on the cooler from my phone via bluetooth is great because if I wanted to check the battery status without pulling over to check is very convenient. I bought a second battery to make the cooler last as long as possible without recharging.

This thing is actually pretty darn good it cools real quickly. Battery lifespan is decent. It is a little heavy but if you get a second person to lift it up when it’s full, no big deal fairly well-made I took off a star because I feel like it should’ve came with a little bit bigger wheels already and the price was high other than that it’s a solid four star.
