Customers are saying

Customers commend the Soundcore Rave Partycast Portable Bluetooth Speaker for its exceptional sound quality, particularly the bass and treble, and long battery life. Its loud volume, water resistance, and fun light show are also frequently praised, along with its portability and ease of use. However, some users point out that the charging cable is not a standard USB type, and that the speaker, while portable, is relatively large. Overall, the positive feedback on sound, battery, and features outweighs the concerns about the charging port and size.

The Anker Soundcore Rave is a great party speaker with all the right features. The speaker is pretty lightweight for its size and power. It comes with a built-in handle located on the top of the speaker; this makes it easy to carry it around with you wherever you go. The speaker is IPX7 waterproof, making this ideal for pool parties and anywhere around water. There are 2 rings above each woofer that are LED lights, these lights can change color matching the music you’re playing. The LED lights can also be further customized through the very useful Soundcore app. The speaker can be placed either horizontal or vertical, which there are rubber feet for either position. At the top of the speaker are physical media buttons as well as the lightshow button, extra bass, and Bluetooth pairing button. Aside from Bluetooth, the speaker can also be connected via aux cable. Lastly, the speaker does have a USB for acting as a power bank to charge USB devices. The Soundcore Rave sounds really good, and packs plenty of bass. Of course, if bass is something you desire, there is an extra bass button that adds more bass to your sound. I played a different array of music to see how well the speakers handles different genres, I must say the speaker sounds good on all kinds of music. The 80 watts of power makes this a very loud speaker that can be heard outdoor throughout the whole yard. Plus, with Anker’s partycast lineup, you can add over 100 speakers all linked together simultaneously. The Soundcore app extends the usage of the speaker by adding custom light effects, music presets, an equalizer, and some really fun party games. The party games include; spin the bottle which syncs with the lights on the speakers when the wheel is spinning. There is also a trivia game, and a truth or dare game. Overall, I am impressed with the Anker Soundcore Rave speaker. It provides a really good sound no matter what genre of music you listen to. The speaker also gets extremely loud, which makes this ideal for outdoor use. The LED lightshow is really fun to watch, plus the customizable colors is a bonus. The fact that you can pair up to 100 of these speakers is really impressive, and I would be very interested to hear how that sounds. Lastly, the IPx7 rated waterproof makes this one of the best party speakers on the market. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new Bluetooth speaker.

So I received my Anker Soundcore Rave PartyCast Bluetooth speakers a week ago and have been putting it through its paces. This this is amazing. First off, Anker continues putting out top-notch products year in and year out; and this speaker was no exception. Unpacking the box, you will find the speaker and the power adapter, along with user documentation. The speaker is very beefy in size and sound. The build quality is very nice and sturdy and it has a nice weight to it. Atop of the speaker is a nice carrying handle with the speaker controls underneath. The controls are the power button, Bluetooth button, rave partycast button (to add additional speakers), <<| and |>> button to skip tracks, +/- volume buttons, light button, and bass button. On the bottom at the back is where you would plug in the power adapter to charge your speaker and included is also a USB port as well as an audio port. Powering up the speaker is simple and the speaker goes into Bluetooth pairing mode. Just put another device in Bluetooth pairing mode (phone, table, TV, etc.) and it will connect instantly. I connected it to my iPhone and opened up my Apple Music and started playing some music. The sound quality is clear and this thing can put out some bass. I love this speaker as did my family when I took it with me to my nephew's graduation party. You can also download the Anker app from the App Store or Google Play Store and use it to add DJ effects, tweak the equalizer settings, or play games. You can also use the app to update the firmware for the speaker. The battery power is listed at 18 hours for this speaker and I eeked out every bit of it that I could and seemed like it wanted to keep going. Very good speaker just in time for all those summer barbecues now that we're all out of quarantine.

Anker nails a segment again - I've had party speakers/portable loudspeakers before from other brands, even MAJOR brands, and this thing blows them away for its size in every way. Battery Life: This thing just goes and goes - I have been able to have entire 4-5 hour parties where this thing keeps going, and still has 2-3 bars or battery available when we're done. Sound Quality: The sound is crisp, bass is nice and deep, and coverage is very good for a speaker of this size. When getting loud I didn't notice distortion until going to VERY high volumes. Connectivity: The speaker has charging via USB-A for a connected Smartphone if one device is playing DJ and is dedicated to a fixed location. I had success using this speaker outside in a typical backyard (.3 acre) space where I was throughout the yard with the supplying phone, and connectivity never broke, and music quality was excellent across the yard. Gripes: Only one - The charging cord for this speaker is a barrel charger, NOT a USB Type C connector... WHY ANKER? With their large cable/charging business, it seems unusual to not use an industry standard tech charging standard to allow this to be charged via USB PD... Instead a standard barrel charger is used, and one of the HARDEST TO OPEN AC folding prongs mechanism I've ever experienced (picture included). Outside of these minor issues when charging, I might pick up a second one to build a full stereo party rig.

This speaker is slightly reminiscent of another product I've seen on the market but at a MUCH better price! Anker did a great job with this one. The sound quality is much better than I had expected. It handles the highs and lows very well and delivers a full bodied sound. I'm surprised a speaker of this size is portable and doesn't need to be plugged in. The box says there is 18 hours of playtime and I think they are pretty spot on. It's very light and portable. I'm not a fan of the lighting but I'm sure there are plenty of people who are. To me that's just something that will drain the battery faster. There are some hookups on the back to use this for karaoke but I personally wouldn't use it. You can also plug your phone in for a charge. Bluetooth connectivity was very simple. It says it's water proofed but I haven't tested that feature yet. Overall I would recommend this speaker.

I have several bluetooth speakers, from cheap $30 small units to a $400 speaker, but this might be my new favorite.Incredibly easy to pair with my phone, and intuitive controls. You don't have to download an app to control your music, evening is under the handle. Battery life is great. I've listned all day on a full charge, and still haven't received a battery warning. All of those things are nice, but it doesn't matter if the speaker doesn't deliver on sound, and this one does! It has a warm, rich sound that's urprising for a speaker in this price range. It's more than enough to fill my a large room. It has a handle for easy portablity, and is much lighter than my other larger party speaker. The lights add a fun touch, especially at night!

The sound and look of this Anker Soundcore Rave Partycast are at least as good as the bigger brand name speakers which i was familiar with. At a loud volume, it sounds amazing (and wow, what bass), and even at a lower volume providing background music it is pleasant. The "light show" which seems to go with the music caught my eye and seemed fun to watch at times. The waterproof feature gives me confidence when taking it outside near the pool or when a storm is approaching. The soundcore app gives control over the lights on the speaker and also has a light dj mode where one can manually control the lights and add some prerecorded sounds. It also allows customization of sound presets.

I received this product in exchange for my fair and unbiased review. TL;DR - The Anker Soundcore Rave Partycast speaker is a surprisingly loud speaker for its size. Audio is customizable, as is the lighting, with the Soundcore app, and all music sounds terrific over Bluetooth or the aux input. Battery life is amazing, and it's a steal for the price. ------------------------------------- Unboxing, setup, and first impressions: The Soundcore Rave Partycast isn't a tiny speaker, but isn't a monster either. The handle on top makes it easy to lug around, and you're given options on how to stand it up - verically, horizontally, or you can mount it on a stand. The unit feels high-quality with soft touch controls and a metal speaker grill. The charging port, USB port, and aux port are located behind a soft-touch flap on the backside of the speaker. You'll want to charge it, like anything else with a lithium battery, before use. This took my unit about 30 minutes, but your mileage might vary. Once charged, powering on is simple and the power button also doubles as the battery life indicator. Pairing Bluetooth is easy enough. You'll press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker until a tone plays, then you'll connect your phone or other device to Rave Partycast. With iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices, you'll also want to download the Anker Soundcore app so you can customize the lights and EQ setting for the speaker. All told, you'll go from powered up to ready to use in about 2 minutes flat. ------------------------------------- Usage: Before discovering the EQ settings in the Soundcore app, I thought the audio from the Rave Partycast was loud, but rather bass-heavy at the bottom at shallow at the top. While this was good for hip-hop, pop, rock, and modern country, it wasn't good for blues, jazz, classical, oldies, and classic country. After playing with the EQ, however, I was able to bring life back into the music that fell flat. So yeah, YOU NEED THE APP for this speaker. Overall, the speaker has a good sound after tuning it to your preferences. While it's not the best speaker for quieter genres, it's great for what most people will listen to - music with a strong beat and a driving bass line. The app also allowed for changing the colors of the lights around the midrange/tweeter drivers of the speaker. While it would have been nice to pick my own colors, the options given look pretty good over all. I did use it without the power adapter after initial charging and, after 10 hours, it was about halfway down on battery life as indicated by both my iPhone 11 and the power indicator on the unit. I was also able to charge my phone using the USB port on the back of the speaker while it was powered on. ------------------------------------- Drawbacks: Like I stated earlier, the only thing is YOU NEED THE APP to get the most out of the Soundcore Rave Partycast. Once you adjust the EQ to your liking, it'll sound terrific. Also, it was designed to be loud first and give you high-quality audio second. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, don't expect audio quality that matches a $500 speaker or a $1500 audio system that gets permanently installed in your back yard. ------------------------------------- Conclusion: If you want a loud speaker for gatherings outside or just poolside by yourself, you can't go wrong with the Anker Soundcore Rave Partycast. It's easy to use and a terrific value for what you get.

We have a very nice pool at my apartments and try to go frequently during the summer. It's always a challenge to find a Bluetooth speaker we can take that won't get damaged and also be loud enough for a good amount of distance. The Anker Rave Partycast is a perfect speaker if you're looking for something for outdoor parties and is loud enough for a good amount of people around. This is a great option because it can be charged and then taken on the go and also has a very long battery life. The box includes the speaker and power cord. Once you've charged for a few hours and the battery is full, you're ready to go. This speaker is compatible with the Soundcore app and can be found on the App Store. Once you're unboxed and charged, turn the speaker on and connect to Bluetooth. I suggest pairing with your app for easy functionality and this also allows you to play with the features. There is a light setting option to play with the lights on front, basic controls such as volume, play/pause, basic light features, and your equalizer setting, it also includes three party games: truth or dare, spin the bottle, and categories. I really like the as they're perfect for parties. There are also buttons to control your speaker on top: power, bluetooth, bass, lights, back/forward, and volume settings. According to the features, it includes a certain level of waterproofing so it can be splashed or submerged for a few minutes without losing functionality. This option is perfect for bringing it along to the beach or pool and not worrying about any water damage. The sound is pretty great and is very clear. I like that there are options to control the bass and equalizer so it gives it more of a quality sound than other smaller speakers. Pros: -Great sound quality -Multiple customizable light settings -App pairing for more functionality -Party games -Waterproof -Customizable bass and equalizer -Handle for easy carrying -Rechargeable -Bluetooth connectivity Cons: -Fairly large size -Battery life not as great as expected Overall, I really love this speaker and it's perfect for pool/beach days or parties. I like that the app adds more fun features to the speaker to give it more oomph than some other speakers. My only dislike is that it is pretty large so it's not as portable as I'd like, but the quality makes up for the larger size. It also includes a handle that makes it easy to carry with you.

This was a pleasant surprise. First, download the app. Immediately. The app lets you configure your desired equalizer settings (awesome) and create and maintain your playlists. The equalizer setting has 3 presets: Outdoor, Indoor, and Bang. There is a custom option as well and you can have MULTIPLE custom options. The indoor setting is a must if you are going to use it for a movie companion. Outdoor will highlight the bass and lower the treble. Bang, for me, is the best of both the worlds. I have fiddled with the custom equalizer options to suit my listening style that like clarity over high bass, Use these options to cater to your own taste. The ranges do genuinely change as you fiddle with them. Sound quality for the price is excellent with the added use of the equalizer modifications. The unit is light enough and the battery life, in my usage, has been very good. The lights can be changed based on your liking as well. This is a solid buy,

I was really looking forward to taking this on my first camping trip of the season. Before I left the driveway my buddy knocked it out of my car and it tumbled on to the pavement and into the mud. Once at the camp site it was abysmal with rain everyday and one morning I noticed it was outside of my canopy and the top where the controls are was completely full of water. With all this, it sounds great plays for a long time and really brightened up a dreary weekend for me and my friends with great sounds. The light effects are also quite nice. I do not recommend stress testing it as I did but having dropped it and showering it with water, I am so happy to have this wonderful speaker. The tripod mount is another nice touch for situations where you want to mount it in the middle of an area.

I have been testing the Soundcore Rave Partycast Bluetooth speaker for the last few days and it has easily become my favorite outdoor speaker.  This speaker is surprisingly small and lightweight for the amount of sound it produces and how much battery it packs inside of it. I used it for an outdoor birthday party and everyone that saw or heard it was amazed at how loud, clear and bassy the sound was. I was easily able to use it at full power for 8 hours and I still had 47% battery by the end of my party. The Bluetooth connection was also excellent. It seamlessly paired with my phone and maintained a great Bluetooth connection, even when my phone was over 100 ft. away. The integrated party lights added a little flair to the party and made the speaker easier to locate when other guests wanted to take control of the music.  With that being said, I really like the speaker and highly recommend it for large outdoor parties.
