This was my very first 3D printer and it was the smoothest and easiest experience imaginable. The set up was only 15 minutes and Anker made it super easy with their included took kit.

New to 3D printing and have found this device to be reliable and fun for the entire family. Originally a novelty but finding more and more practical prints to make.

This is my first 3d printer, at first it worked fine but then started to develop issues… first I suspected it’s wet filament ( I only tried PLA) but then I started to have more problems like printing air, I would return it if I could! This printer is only 3-4 weeks old!

I recently tried out the AnkerMake M5 Speedy 3D Printer, and it’s impressive. The speed is excellent it prints quickly without sacrificing quality. The setup was super easy, and the touchscreen is user-friendly. The dual-gear extruder helps prevent clogs, and the print quality is really nice across different materials. It also has a good build volume for larger projects and works well with various filaments. One downside is that it can be a bit noisy, so keep it in a spot where some background noise is okay. It’s a solid choice for anyone wanting a fast, reliable 3D printer. Highly recommended if you want speed without losing quality!

Good 3d printer, Great printer for first time users and great intuitive setup and usage for noobs too. A bit noisy but the build quality is fantastic, controls are easy to use and screen is very intuitive. Print quality is on par with my Creality K1!

I like the anker brand, there GaN chargers are impressive so have this device a shot. Set up super easy and I appreciated that since im completely new to 3-D printing and heard how you have to troubleshoot to get a printer to even work most of the time before you start getting it to work. I purchased this printer dec 13th and its barely Dec 27 and its already stopped working. The error unfortunately doesnt seem to be an easy fix (data communication error) as the suggested troubleshooting steps, didn’t resolve the issue. Honestly anchor makes it really easy to try to troubleshoot yourself and fix problems yourself which is great and I see that effort but this sucks to have to already have to exchange the device or maybe just return it altogether. I don’t know what I want, I’m still waiting to hear back from the engineers regarding this issue. I do think that they have a great newbie pritner. the app plus the slicer are super easy to use and the print quality is good. Its not amazing though, and for the price i would only suggest the 5M when on sale, for $500 its a great printer. If youre willing to spend more id stick with bambulabs or prusa (but anker is close!)

Easiest install. Auto level is great. Great for beginners. I would save the slicer itself needs some work. There is an easy mode, and expert. Easy mode is what I use mostly. It best for all around print quality. I had trouble with expert mode. It prints fast perhaps too fast when it comes to using PETG filament. The built in camera is awesome. The detection features are great. Some cons: Nozzles are not universal, it takes only ankermake nozzles. Fine detail printing and using expert mode needs some work. Slicer needs some work but they are in beta still. You can use cura but it will take patience to fine tune everything.

I got this printer to get started with 3d printing. It is a straightforward, simple setup and can be ready to print quickly. It is quick and easy to load or remove the filament from the printer when it is time to change colors. However, it is not set up to print multiple colors simultaneously. The mats do a great job of holding the material in place during the print and releasing the item once it has been completed. I have not had to apply anything to the mats (i.e., glue stick); they work great. The app from Anker will allow you to send prints to the printer from your phone, although I have only used that method once. I mainly send prints from the computer. The Anker app has worked fine for me so far when printing items from files downloaded from various websites. I have gotten a couple of files from the Anker app, but most have come from third-party pages, and it does a good job printing. Watching the print from your phone can allow you to check the status and even look at the live camera view. I have only had one print fail, resulting from something I did not from the printer's fault. Ensure you are cleaning the nozzle and the mat, keeping the tracks clear and the printer clean; it will work fine. Small amounts of filament tend to fall into the tracks under the tray that will need to be cleaned out. Although I didn't plan on using both at the same time. One time, the printer popped the breaker from running this printer on the same outlets as my laser printer, and someone else sent a print to the laser printer. The two run on different breakers now; I have not had that problem since. The tool kit that the printer comes with is limited but provides a great starting point for a beginner. I did order additional nozzles, mats, and some tools that individuals on YouTube recommended. Plan on getting some additional tools not only for the maintenance of the printer but also to make cleaning up your prints easier. I will likely be looking into other printers soon as I want to make more complicated prints or ones with multiple colors, but I still think this printer was a good choice for a first printer and will keep it for printing single-color items.

I love the printer, it makes good quality prints even on fast mode. The only downside is probably how load it is. But all in all its a good printer if your new to printing and want to try it out, especially with the auto leveling system.

Full disclosure, I've only had two filament printers before this (MakerBot and some other low end model I don't recall the name of, I gave it away). Both of those printers were such a constant pain that I was completely turned off of filament printers, and figured I'd just stick to resin. That was until I saw this bad boy go on sale anyway. Decided to take the risk (or lack thereof, considering Best Buy's decent return policy and warranties) and it arrived a few days later. The box it came in is MASSIVE to fit all for the parts and foam enclosures to keep it all secure. The whole process of assembling was painless and actually uses the foam inserts as guides for putting the thing together easily. All and all, it took me about 15 minutes to asable, then another 25 minutes for it to automatically level itself. I went ahead with the in-built test print, and I honestly was not thrilled by it. It took way longer than the advertisement seems to imply it would take, and the quality was not great. A lot of bending and print lines. That said, I then swapped out the included filament for another roll of AnkerMake (red, in this case) and man, all my disappointment instantly disappeared. I only ever had ONE print out of around 30 have any issues, and the AI camera caught it and paused the print. I've been printing literally nonstop since I got it. Now, I have had a major issue where I now have to bring the printer in to the store to get a replacement extruder. AnkerMake black PLA+ has been slightly problematic, but nothing too serious... Until last night when it somehow started spraying filament out into the extruder itself, and completely solidified within the extruder, and a large bob outside of it. After removing all of the dried filament, shockingly, only the two small cables coming out of the heater were broken. Everything else about the extruder was A-Ok. Anyway, I'm hoping I can get this squared away through Best buy, and get back to printing.
