This product is an amazing technology, from the tracks to the cars.

My kids love their Anki race set. They prefer to race head to head, but they can also race against the computer controlled car (yes the car drives by its self). The race track is huge, but it rolls up easily and comes with a nice storage case. Buyers should note, that for your kids to race head to head, they will need two seperate tablets.

My 5 and 7 year old boys love this. They have a great time racing and adding upgrades to the cars with the points they win. The only downside - it only comes with 2 cars so I have to buy a third if I want a turn.

The Anki race car kit is a great gift. It is fun for the entire family!

kind of spendy, but no more than a gaming console. lot's of fun, easy to learn, tough to keep the cat off the track. buy it, you won't be sorry!

Lots of fun with these robot cars. Racing and battling for points and upgrades is nonstop fun.

Cool would like to see other options other then just iPhone or iPad to be able to use this track. This limits customers if they are nit an iPhone or iPad user.

Think slot car racing on steroids. You can upgrade cars as you play. Great time with the kids (and by myself)

This was a wonderful Christmas present for my grandson and he so loved it. Plays with all the time now,even the older guys like to race the cars. It is big do you need to have lots of from to lay out the track but us a great toy for those who like to play games with their ipad.

My son loves this, better than any slot car race set I ever had.

This was a gift to my son and it was a hit. Loved it. The footprint is large but it rolls up and can be put away in an instant.

My 10 year old loved it at first he opened it on Christmas eve and now 2 days later he said it is too easy since he keeps beating the game. I really don't want to buy more tracks since they are very big and once he beats the others he will be done with them also. Playing with a friend or 2nd playing is more fun. So average rating due to there not being any additional features to make the tracks or races harder without spending more $$$$$$$$$.

Picked this up after a friend told me about it. It is amazingly cool. Running the tutorial and watching the cars stay on the track with no slots or no rails was one of those experiences when you realize just how far technology and robotics have come. The track is large, 3.5' x 8.5', which is a really good size considering the scale and speed of the cars, especially if you are running 4 of them at once. Being able to roll the track up and tuck the whole thing away into the box (which is designed to be how you store the entire kit with well thought out spots for up to 4 cars, the track, charger, and tire cleaner) in a couple of minutes makes this even better - no long track setup. It does require fairly modern devices to run the cars as the cars require Bluetooth 4.0, so check the compatibility list before you buy to make sure it will work in your home. That might be the one drawback to the system, for four players you would be looking at over $1,000 in devices and tracks/cars (4 current iPod touches and the starter kit with 2 additional cars). I really like that the cars turn themselves on the track and you don't have to worry about braking around the turns, it makes the game much more accessible. My 6 year old son and I are having a blast being on a team and taking on two AI cars - which are surprisingly pretty tough at times. Overall I am really pleased with the system, it is a great hybrid of a video game and real life toys that are a marvel of technology and my whole family is having a blast with it.

Anki Drive offers a new, unique and refreshing experience to gamers of all ages as I have noticed with my family. Bringing Artificial intelligence and robotics to the common consumer, it is literally an awing experience; the track and cars work like magic! I highly recommend this product for all levels of gamers (old and new) kids, teens and adults alike (YES ADULTS!) Watching my dad (60+ years young) and 6 year nephew interact with Anki has been a joy. My 2 year old daughter gets a kick out of watching the cars zoom by and chuckles every time the vehicles light up or emit sounds. They are attractive to the eyes, their lights and sounds (sound emitted via your mobile device) ensure to stimulate the most vital senses in gaming. The uniqueness in personalities of each of the individual cars (in addition to their unique weapons) makes for exciting play that is ever changing and evolving. We each have our personal favorites and I must admit, with the recent additions of Corax and Haidon – keeping Boson as my personal favorite has been challenging. While having the starter kit alone is enough to keep any family/friends entertained for hours upon end, I highly recommend the new tracks as well. It takes the game and fun factor to another level. Deciding what vehicle to use on which tracks (as each vehicle can be more or less effective on a given track) can be a challenging and rewarding exercise, particularly fun when you have a solid strategy while others are still figuring theirs out! One more thing regarding the tracks, they are easy to roll up and tuck away almost anywhere in your home. Overall, the game play is great, the upgrades that are involved in the experience keep it entertaining after hours of play, and it’s great for those who love a good challenge. If you don’t particularly care for a challenge - race/battle away with the AI/Computer generated game and select your level of difficulty. The only critique I have for Anki is making this game so addictive that getting my friends and family to leave my home after a night of play has become more challenging than winning the AI set to hard in battle mode. I can't wait to see what Anki has lined up for future products!

Been enjoying our Anki Drive kit since the day we opened the box. It's a wonderful throwback to my days of slot cars with the added twist of weapons and AI. The game itself is continuing to evolve quite nicely. The Anki team continues to add more gaming features and refine the upgrade options (you earn points as you play to customize your cars with over time) to keep the game fun! Adding a additional cars or their new track mats to the mix makes it even more enjoyable. Like Spy Hunter being played out right before your eyes in real life. Totally cool! So glad to have this in the house to have some quality time with the family - instead of looking into our phones quietly we get to cheer each other on and engage each other around the Anki Drive track!

we bought this toy for our 6 yr old nephew, just to find out it its not compatible with his ipod touch, or his moms samsung galaxy, even though they are both supposed to be compatible. the app would download but not load up. luckily there is an ipad in the house or else he couldn't play with it! he can only play one player until someone with an iphone is over. it is a lot of fun though when we do get to play!
