    I bought this movie as a Christmas stocking stuffer. My girlfriend loved the book and wanted this blue ray for her collection. She truly enjoyed the entire movie! I made it approximately 45 min into the movie before passing out on the couch. Couldn't tell you how it ends, but she seemed delighted.

    Strangely set and did not really care for the presentation. It was well acted but sometimes the depth of the characters was lost in the translation. So very Russian and tragic - just as you expect from Tolstoy.
