This is spine-tingling on the edge of my seat movie. Did not disappoint.

I was thinking that they couldn't do much with this story since it was based off the doll.... wow was I wrong. A must own.

A chilling follow-up tale of the movie, "The Conjuring." This is a good 'scare-you' movie to watch right before you go to bed. This movie is supposedly based on a true incident, one that was investigated by famed demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren. The movie depicts a scary looking doll, as shown on the video case cover. Why anyone would want to purchase a doll who looks like this is a matter for psychologists to figure out. The true-story actual doll, however, was supposed to be Raggedy-Ann doll. I guess the movie producers felt it necessary to spike-up the fright factor by making the doll look demonistic to begin with. In my humble opinion, the innocent looking Raggedy-Ann doll would have given the movie an even more sinister twist.

This is a pretty decent movie as long as you're familiar - even a little bit - with the Conjuring universe. If you don't know about the mythology behind the Annabelle doll, this will not be as satisfying as it could be. Of all the entries in the franchise, I think this one is least able to stand on its own.

I'm one of those few people who had never seen this movie before. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it more than I expected. Not one of the best horror movies that I've seen, but was enjoyable and entertaining nevertheless. Enough that I'll probably watch the sequels.

Annabelle is a prequel of sorts to the chilling Conjuring nice franchise. I have a thing for creepy doll movies (Chucky, Magic etc.) and Annabelle doesn't disappoint. Tho not as good as the original Conjuring, it provides enough scares and chills to satisfy any horror buff

It was a good movie to see. The first 50 minutes of the movie was slow for us, but it also at the same time set the mood for the rest of the movie that keep you on the edge of your seat. Some people in the reviews here compare this to The Conjuring. We also LOVED The Conjuring. While Annabelle didn't quite make it as high as The Conjuring I would say, it came close.

This movie explores further into the Conjuring movies about the artifacts that the Warrens have collected. In this case, the supernatural doll, Annabelle!

This movie is a little slower than the other Annabelle movie's, but is still a good time. More of a slow burn. Has some creepy moments for sure.

I don't scare easily, but there is something about dolls. This one is creepy especially with the baby in the room with it. I would recommend.

This may not be the 4K version but this was a good deal. Oh considering this may not be the highest resolution version of this movie but for the price it was a really good value highly recommended

Great movie dealing with the supernatural. This release has a beautiful lenticular slipcover.

My daughter loves it and it’s fun to see the story get deeper as the movies progress.

Going back to the beginning, Annabelle is the source of evil in this prequel to The Conjuring. This movie is creepy and haunting. It will have you afraid of the dark and dolls!

Good Halloween movie! Wasn’t what I expected. Definitely will watch every October.

Slow at times and at other times intense. Conjuring Universe is definitely coming up.

The movie is alright. Not the best but understandable since it's one of the oldest.
