    It's nice that it's an updated version of the movie but it brings nothing else with it. The acting is adequate. If you already have the original there is no need to buy this version.

    I am still a fan of the original Anne of Green Gables. They followed the story line well but I like the way the actors in the original portrayed their characters.

    I'm glad Best Buy carries pbs dvds, masterpiece theater series, etc. No need to order online. Especially when you need it quick. Great selection!

    Like the title suggests, this movie seemed like a remake for remake's sake. This is a rental, not a buy. If anyone interested in this movie is reading this review, please check out the original "Anne of Green Gables" and its sequels.
