It's tough to say whether Annie Hall or Manhattan stands as Woody's best film, but I'd have to go with this one. Fortunately, both are available on Blu-Ray, which isn't the case with many of his films.

In 1977 all the talk was about Star Wars. But a little film called Annie Hall won best picture (and much deservedly too!). One of the most brilliantly directed films in all of cinema. And it hasn't aged a bit.

I've given this 3 stars due to the problem of the disc being out of synch. Like watching a foreign film with bad dubbing. I don't know if this was a bad batch of Blu-rays that Best Buy received or if the whole release was like this. But, it is fixable for some. On my Samsung 4K player, I was able to go into the sound mode and switch the synch from 0 to 250 and it worked. This is more of an annoyance than anything else. But, the price at $5.99 was hard to beat. The film itself still holds up along with all the players. Although, some may find Allen hard to watch after some of the stories that have been released. Of course, they are all alleged and nothing has been proven. Other than that, one of Allen's best films.

I have loved Annie Hall for decades. It is clearly Woody Allen's magnum opus. Definitely worth owning to watch again and again.

Great Woody Allen Masterpiece. It beat out Star Wars for BP in '78 so gotta give much respect.

A classic neurotic comedy about relationships ,that takes me back to New York city during the 1970`s.
