One of my favorites films from last year, Annihilation is a thoughtful, atmospheric and visually stunning science fiction thriller.

critics were not kind to this movie so I was a little hesitant to purchase so hummed and ha'd decided to go with it the story was a little slow getting going but overall I enjoyed it and glad I went ahead with my purchase

I brought the blu ray version and didn't like my blu ray copy. I brought to upgrade to 4K. I'm happy i got the 4K version.

This is a really interesting film that held quite a few surprises. The picture on this 4K is terrific and the sound is reference quality.

I think overall this was a good movie and worth checking out it’s 4k presentation with great visuals and audio.

This movie was really good and went under the radar when it was out. Beautiful special effects and superb acting.

A nice 4K home experience as this film is ideal to showcase a 4K player. The ending scene (no spoilers) has an amazing visual that really pops on 4K. Highly recommended demo disc for that purpose.

Annihilation is a must see movie for science fiction fans. The film is directed by Alex Garland, who made his directorial debut with 2015's Ex Machina. This is an intelligent film, posing serious questions to the audience and not bending over backwards to deliver easy answers. It has a great cast, headlined by Natalie Portman and featuring Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac. It is based on a popular book series, Jeff VanderMeer’s best-selling Southern Reach Trilogy, but the movie really stands on its own and is not entirely beholden to the source material. The 4K disc version is exclusive to Best Buy, so don't go looking for it anyplace else. The 4K is definitely worth buying, as the film offers some really fantastic visuals. The package also comes with the standard blu-ray and a digital redemption copy. Don't miss out on picking up this film. Fans of Garland's work won't be disappointed.
