I like the idea inherent in the movie, as far as an apocalyptic theme, but it did not totally grab me.

good movie very thought provoking, alex garland rocks

I went in without knowing much about this film and it turned out to be a great movie. From the visuals, to the performance of the actors the movie delivers, it does a great job keeping you on your couch waiting for the unexpected. If you are a fan of sci-fi, you should give this movie a chance.

Natalie Portman is great in this movie. Many twists and turns! Keeps you on the edge until the end.

Was not quite what I remembered from any previews that I'd seen, but turned out to be a decent movie!

I saw this in theaters and really wanted to buy this on steelbook but after waiting for a year I found a good deal for the regular Bluray and ended up buying it. Great original movie.

Have to give this 5 stars just for originality. We've never seen aliens like this or a concept this unique in sci-fi. Great SFX and acting is top notch. Natalie Portman is outstanding.

Very strange original si fi could do without the sex scenes not needed would of be better without.

I love this movie. One of those rare movies for me which keeps me glued to the screen even though it's not cranking out huge action sequences and whatnot. The colors are wonderful and for that reason alone justifies the UHD because you need to capture the colors of the "shimmer" throughout the film. The audio is excellent and helps fuel the scene which won scariest moment of 2018.

You probably read about it before; this is not just another scifi thriller. This one adds an existential profoundly deeper insight into the human race and what makes them tick. At the same time it thrills and entertains, with some jumps and scares and great special effects. Give it a try!

I've read the trilogy and I think this movie captures the first book, Annihilation, in spirit.

This movie was a little different but still enjoyable. I would recommend this to my friends.

Kind of out there, but keeps you entertained. Glad I didn't waste money at the theater.

This was an amazing movie (with a magnificent soundtrack). It hit all the right notes visually and aurally. The story is engaging and makes you think. Some very far out visuals and even a little action to boot. This is a must have for fans of movies such as Arrival, Contact, etc...

I bought this on a whim but I’ve to say it was surprisingly good...better than Arrival.

Great sci-fi movie, and a movie with a ending that u will have to watch it again

This movie didn’t get raving reviews but I would highly recommend it. It was different and more intriguing than a lot of sci-fi movies. Plus Natalie Portman is always amazing!

Annihilation was an interesting sci-fi movie with one my favorite actresses. It’s a sort of sleeper hit with a well put together cast and also some pretty darn good CGI.
