    Simply put, one of the best (and my favorite) Scandinavian films ever made. It's deceptively simple on the outside, but packed with so many subtleties and just simply wonderful characters and acting. Mads Mikkelsen shines as the subdued and depressed/uninspired schoolteacher Martin, as he rediscovers alcohol which leads him to happiness as well as family turmoil. 10/10 film, watch it now!

    Disc is in perfect condition. Really glad this had the English subtitles.

    If I were just rating the movie, this would get 5 stars. But Best Buy shipped me a DVD instead of a Blu-ray so I'm salty
