8th floor in near northwest DC (Woodland Park), open to the east, SE, and kinda south. Brought in a lot of stations (about 15 + their .Xs), some trouble for those to the north (nothing west) going through a lot of concrete. Has worked for a month, for what that's worth.

The Antennas Direct - ClearStream Eclipse Amplified antenna works well & consistently for over-the-air reception for my area. Before purchasing an antenna, I suggest checking the distance from & direction to the transmission array for your area. There are websites that have information on digital TV reception based on zip code. The positon of the antenna in the home may also make a difference in quality and consistency of reception so experiment with placement & location. Also, be sure to try area in both AM & PM. Finally, I suggest purchasing "more antenna mileage distance" than might be indicated from transmission array distances. Overall, I have been very satisfied with the Eclipse Amplified Antenna.

I live in a slightly rural area and can get most channels except NBC and our local whyy public channel. Since there's nothing decent to watch on cable anyway, this meets all my needs, just not all my wants. I did add tinfoil to the wire which increased my reception!

I tried 5 OTA antennae, including an attic antenna. None of them could pick up the one station we wanted except this one. Add to this the fact that we think the shape is cute hanging in our window.

Does what I need it to, picks up Fox 40 now that Direct isn’t broadcasting it.

This didn’t work for us we had to return we could not get it to reach Seattle

If you're a cordcutter and looking for a good HDTV antenna, Antennas Direct has the one just for you - I like it - it's easy to move around when necessary - and it can do 50 channels-plus (great for someone like me who lives in an apartment building)!

This antenna gives a really great reception and is very easy to set up. My only issue with it is that it is supposed to stick on the wall, but it kept on falling off. I solved the problem by using a command hook to hold it up. Problem easily solved.

This product does a much better job than the 5 year-old RCA flat panel antenna it replaced. It struggles a bit to sort through interference and reflections, but with the amplifier does a serviceable, if not roof top quality, job.

We were tired of paying $90 for basic cable and decided to try antennas. We have great reception and more channels than we ever expected. We bought two so we could have one for each tv. Great buy!

We live on acreage in Florida and I cut my cable. I read great reviews for this product but there just isn’t a good way to pick up stations out here. I was able to get the qvc network and about three other stations. I haven’t tried going up in the attic to see if there were more airwaves up there.

I would encourage people to make this purchase if they need an antenna.

I have a rook mounted antenna and wanted another for a separate tv. Worked right out of the box and gathered more channels than I thought it would. I have had a lot of antennas since we cut the cord, but this one impressed me for the money!

Bought this Antenna in anticipation of stopping my cable TV service. Being 25 miles outside of Houston i am getting all of the local channels and somewhere around 30+ more. this works well and will probably get 1 more for my other TV.

This antenna brings in about 33 channels in my area, and I am 30+ miles from some of the local towers. Thought maybe I could do better with one of their outside larger antennas, but it could not pull in any more channels, so I returned that and kept this one. I am using it with an HD Homerun to pull live TV and DVR with Plex, and I am quite happy with it. I found that for it to work best I had to place it on a 2nd story window on the side of my house that faces the towers. Luckily for me this is a window in a bonus area over our garage. Wish it could mount a little more discretely to an inside wall, but it does work.

Great picture, great reception. We no longer have cable but missed our local channels. Purchased a different less expensive antenna 1st. This one gave us 6 more channels.

I tties many antenna all work for 3-4 channels but this one is working really good and pick 80 percent of the channels the only problematic one is channel 15 and 7 in real good weather they also show up but reception is not good

this antenna for a apartment works well. but I have the mohu leaf it worked slightly better in same location. but I moved it into the bedroom as a back-up to cable plus I get a few channels with antenna that limited cable does not.
