This antenna replaces one I bought several years ago without research or knowledge. The key to having an antenna work effectively to maximize the number of channels you can receive and the clarity of the signal is the rated range of the antenna to the transmitting antenna. This antenna is rated for a 50 mile range versus 20 mile range of my previous purchase. This allows increased transmitting ability to the broadcast antenna's located in my geographic region which is approximately 32 miles south of Boston, MA.

Did get my local news channel until I rearranged my living room. So I ran a cord to the wall and followed it to the out side and connected the antenna out doors and zipped tided it under my roof. Works even better.

The reason this is happening is because of the broadcast signals and where the towers are located in your area. Check out Antennas Direct's transmitter locater https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html to locate the broadcast towers in your area. This will help you aim your antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in the surrounding area. I purchased this antenna thinking that given the higher cost that it would work better than the one that I had previously purchased at half the price. Wrong, it provided no better reception than the cheaper antenna that I already had. I returned the antenna and got a refund.

Have the hardest time getting a antenna that will work on the second story but this one works great. Easy to installed, loved the fact that it's so thin & stick to the wall.

Antenna works great. Picked up all the major Channels at about 25-30 miles away. The amplifier actually made the signal worse and I could get all the Channels I needed without it. Combined this with an OTA DVR and i am golden.

    Decent Indoor Antenna

Ditched cable and wanted to get some live channels in addition to my streaming services. Able to get 40-50 channels in my area, some come in more reliably than others. For an indoor antenna, this does a decent job. Reception is really dependent on where then signals are coming from in your area. I have 2 of these and can get different channels in different rooms. I find it works better not in a window, but just as high up as possible to reduce interference.

I purchased this for use on local channels in a fairly remote area so that I wouldn't have to have the service turned on. It wasn't strong enough, so I did return it. Perhaps a more expensive one is more powerful.

Easy to set up. Brought in many over the air channels that I was not able to get on my older antenna. Works well despite being on a lower floor of an apartment building.

    Indoor Antenna Review

Indoor antennas of any design have significant sensitivity only within the immediate range of a broadcasting antenna. This antenna does a reasonable job of getting signals from a distance about 35 miles from local transmitting antennas. But do not expect it, or any other similar designed receiving antenna to work well in the shadow of trees, mountains, buildings, and electronic interference from other non-TV emitters. Its performance is also dependent on the transmitting power of local TV stations which can vary quite a bit. Reception of the signal from our local PBS station is vexing because of the station's lower power transmitter. Note that different substations (9.1, 9.2, 9.3) transmitter powers can vary and make reception difficult.

The antenna works fine and the online station direction finder is very helpful. Just not happy with digital stations that turn off at certain times and pixelating occurring a lot. Antenna works well for not being roof mounted.

was not disappointed. In fact we were surprised just how many stations it pulls in. Some better than others. Certainly makes cutting the cord easier. Putting it a window does make a significant difference. We're pleased.

Already had tried a cheaper unit because most reviews stated the better ones like this one would be the same. I have about 12 more channels and the ones the cheaper one received are much clearier

Very pleased! Because of where I was forced to place this antenna, I anticipated reception problems. A large majority of the broadcast antennas in my area are located about 20-30 miles to the north and northwest of my home. I had no choice but to place my new ClearStream antenna on an east-facing, inside window (it looks out over an enclosed patio). The big local channels come in great, and I even pick up channels I didn't even know existed. Bottom Line: You can certainly find a less-expensive antenna but I'll bet you won't find one that pulls in over-the-air channels as well as my ClearStream Eclipse.

Antenna did better when I put it outside on the deck. Gets most of the channels I want, holds them fairly well, but does seem to have issues when it's windy outside. Still experimenting with positioning, though...

I selected this antenna after reviewing my options for an antenna when Spectrum required a set top box for all TVs. It has worked well for me. Mounted inside, on a west facing wall, with most TV broadcasting antennas to the west of my location. I did have a great deal of difficulty separating the layer that is on the antenna that allows you to adhere it to the wall. I ended up contacting the company and they send another antenna that I was able to remove the layer on and successfully place on the wall. Very easy to reposition to find the best place to receive the signal.

Easy to install. Previous antenna did not catch most of the national broadcasting chains (NBC, CBS, etc). This doubled the channel listiing in our TV set.
