I live at the bottom of a steep hill so reception is spotty at best, especially in a room without windows. Several other units were pitiful. This unit picks up practically every channel, even on bad days, with good signal quality.

I do not watch much TV. I bought this antenna primarily for watching local channels. This antenna was easy to hook up to my TV. I can view TV stations located 30 - 40 miles away with excellent reception. If you are interested in giving up cable or satellite TV, this is a very inexpensive option.

I bought this antenna for a cord-cutting experiment on a 4th floor apartment facing away from the local broadcast towers. From a little over 40 miles from my local broadcast towers, I get crystal clear reception from all of the major stations. I got all but ABC (the only major VHF station vs. the other UHF stations) with the antenna placed on the wall above my television, but moving the antenna to the window gave me every channel, even the low-def local channels. I get occasional artifacting in the picture, particularly during thunderstorms, but those appear to be environmental and unrelated to the product (expected behavior). Fantastic device, got on sale at a great price!

While transitioning from the high cost of cable, I was on the search for something else. This product is not too bulky, it is light, and easy to install. I get 40 some channels in my location. Recommended for occasional TV watchers!

The reception from this antenna is the best that I have gotten from an indoor antenna. I have tried several other manufacturers and none brought in all the available channels. I would give the antenna 5 stars but it's a little pricey.

I taped the ClearStream Eclipse Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna on the inside of my window and have some cable snaking through on the window edge to give more "antenna-like" reception option. Although my windows don't face the TV towers in Manhattan signal reception is good. I use this antenna with HD HomeRun Duo (connected to my router via Ethernet cable) and receive OAT signal (two tuners included, i.e. DUO) any device on my WiFi and wired network. If you use this antenna with SiliconDust HDHomeRun - CONNECT DUO, there is a Signal GH app in Apple AppStore which you can buy to find the optimal location for the antenna. ClearStream Eclipse Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna & SiliconDust HDHomeRun - CONNECT DUO work perfectly for me, it has an app in iPad with which I watch one channel and can watch another channel either on Fire TV or desktop. If I notice bad reception on any device (wired like TV or WiFi like Amazon Fire TV) I open the Signal GH app (if I am not mistaken which only works with you HD HomeRun in your network) and see the signal strength and quality of the two tuners receiving signal from the antenna (which helps modify antenna location if you have alternative locations and/or angles etc).

Got this antenna for when the Spectrum app won't work to be able to see local stations. Thought that living 12 miles from the broadcast towers and having a 50-mile antenna that placement would be unimportant. Found that placement of antenna is extremely important because not all channels will come through everywhere. Could pick up Fox and PBS in one spot and Fox, NBC and CBS in another. The most difficult to pick up was ABC. After many tries in various spots in the room (and thinking I would have to return the antenna), found one where I could pick up ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC. Added bonus is the "sub" channels for each main channel. All of these channels are crystal clear. If I want to see PBS, I'll have to move the antenna.

Easy setup and reversible for white walls. Used mine on the window and picks up more channels than a more expensive one with supposed larger range. Be nice if they also had white cable but you can get that and make your own.

Bought this antenna for our bedroom TV. Very simple setup, it's an amplified antenna, the range is great! Only a couple of things would make it better; the antenna has a white side and a black side. if you use the white side, the cable that screws directly into the antenna is black, so mounted on the wall it's basically a black cord running up our white wall. The second thing would be a stronger adhesive strip to mount. The one included was made to be re-stuck for re positioning the antenna and it's a little weak. I recommend wiping down the wall where you want to mount it with some rubbing alcohol first. I ended up having to use some 3M VBS double sided foam tape to keep it up there. Other than that, it works fantastic.

I live way northwest of Phoenix, and I couldn't get much reception for any channels. I'm sure it's because I live far away and have a new house that's constructed for energy efficiency and degrades the signal. It's not the fault of the equipment though...

This antenna replaced one that had a loose connection and was considerably larger. I like the thinness of this one and so far it is working fine just sitting on the counter, so I haven't made any marks on any walls.

Nice Antenna but Not 50 Mile Range

This is the second amplified antenna that I purchased but neither give me to all the OTA channels in my area. The average is 15 or 16 channels but I should be able to access 28 or 29. I moved the antenna multiple times but I am not sure that the range is really 50 miles. The problem may be that my 2nd floor condo sits in the rear of a low valley type location. Good thing about the antenna is that it is small and easy to set up. Bad thing is the high price and that it has no USB that connects to TV for power. I should have returned it but I kept it for my bedroom TV since I can't get an outdoor antenna.

This item works great. It pulls in more channels than the prior antenna, and I was able to place it on the wall behind the tv. It works and I don't have to see it. It's a winner! I will probably buy 1 or 2 more to replace other antennas around the house.

We have used 3 different types of antennas on our main TV in our home. This is BY FAR the best reception and best looking antenna we have had. It is worth a few extra dollars for the reception alone. We plan to buy another one for a bedroom TV soon.

This was purchased for a 94 year old who wanted to get rid of dish tv due to expense. Original installer said would not do what we wanted. Next installer was able to set it up and we are able to get all local channels plus over 50 more.
