Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the ClearStream Micron Indoor Long-Range Digital TV Antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a good number of channels and its relatively compact size. However, some customers found the signal strength inconsistent and a few felt the price was a bit high for the performance. The length of the included cable was also a point of concern for some users.

Went through a number of antennas trying to find all channels. This one works better than others I got for $20-$30 more.

Better picture with hd channels than my hd cable had! We use it in our basement so sometimes we have to adjust the angle of the antenna, but I'm quite pleased!

This is a five star review even though we returned this item. This antenna is very well constructed, attractively designed and very easy to install. Our office is 25 miles from the TV transmitting antenna and we received only marginal reception. Every circumstance is different. The technology in this antenna is as good as any. You should try it out and see how well it works for you.

After trying several older style antennas I bought the Micron CMS-1. Was very happy with the superior reception. Only 1 problem channel and it was a vhf cbs affiliate. On the uhf side it was even pulling in 24 mile away towers. Must have 3 to 4 dozen channels now.

The antenna work really well, it provides the range in a large room that is required to be able to capture all the local channel one may want for free.

... but I didn't realize it wasn't a powered antenna when I bought it, so I guess that's my fault. The channels it does get come in very clean and clear.

We live near Washington DC, and we receive many channels using this antenna. Hubby played with the positioning until he was able to pull in the best channels. It works great most of the time. Occasionally, we have signal breaking up with the weather, but at least now we have great programming.

Picture is really clear but will mess up in certain weather. Product looks great and on some days picture stays perfect. To be fair I want to say I have plaster walls which can affect reception. They do offer an amplified version that may work better in my situation.

Scaling down. Rarely watch TV; no longer need all of the channels. Great picture of local channels. I get my HD without paying extra. I will be purchasing additional antennas for other TVs and will recommend to others.

Great antenna for those who live on the perimeter of a metro area. I suggest a multi-directional antenna for those who are trying to receive broadcasts from many (more than two) directions (under 30mi.). A rotating directional long range antenna should be used for longer distances.

I actually like less than 5 miles from most of the TV transmitters in Detroit, so I thought I could get away with a less expensive antenna. The cheap one did a decent job, but the sound was choppy. So I returned it and bought this "premium" Antennas Direct model that wasn't much better, but was nearly 3x the price. Which I also returned. In the end I bought an amplified TERK and it does great.
