Good but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kinda had high expectations for this game, and for the most part, it was pretty good. I do enjoy the game, but it still feels kind of unfinished in some areas. Missions can be too similar to each other, but for the most part, the gun play and RPG aspect are fun.

Fun, Despite its deep flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give this a 4 star, because it is very fun, even though the load times are ridiculous, it crashes, and sometimes the loot given is not worth the missions, but the online play is fun and still enjoy flying around like ironman blowing s..stuff up!

Great game for 60ish hours
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this game was overall a let down compared to the hype it was receving. However, it was a lot of fun for 60hrs. THe gameplay was excellent but the endgame and loot were terrible. pick it up cheap and enjoy the story gameplay.

Decent game, great graphics.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game play not bad, graphics are really good. Haven’t noticed any issues with lag or stutter. Story mode isn’t bad. Best thing about the product is the price for what you get.

Excellent Ideas, Subpar Application
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anthem has all of the potential in the world. Unfortunately, upon finishing the main story line (as of release - this game is meant to be ever-evolving with content updates), you find that the game seems to have been rushed to release without ironing out all of the details. As previously stated, Anthem is meant to be an evolving game as the developer/publisher plan to release new content over time to increase the depth of the game post-purchase. This is a great idea for a console game, in my opinion, mirroring other MMORPGs that are successful, ie: World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, etc. However, the game was also released with many, many bugs, some game-breaking. The formulas for character health and loot distribution are obviously flawed and have been addressed multiple times with patches, but are still not where they should be. Oftentimes, you find yourself having trouble with content that you just breezed through at the same difficulty. This is because a glaring issue with player statistics being loaded incorrectly for missions has persevered despite multiple attempts to rectify it. Also, there are many times where the game will outright crash causing you to lose your progress, and frustratingly, your hard-earned loot. The main draw, or plus, is the implementation of flying into travel and, most awesomely, combat. Setting it apart from its cohort, Destiny, the ability to fly in all areas of the game (even underwater!) really adds something new to the looter shooter genre. I hope the publisher/developer are able to fix many of the huge issues that accompanied the game upon release soon as this game has huge fun potential if this can occur before the game's playerbase jumps ship.

Fun game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun game with a food story line but the game has a lot of glitches. Hopefully, they work out the bugs because this game has a lot of potential. It's like playing destiny in a iron man suit.

Hmmm... on the fence
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun gameplay. Looks great. Good characters. However, it does have it’s issues. It’s missing many things that other games of the genre already have. This makes it worse becuse anthem could’ve learned from other games like division and destiny. Right now those games are more polished. I mean it’s even missing one of the most simplest things in way points. I have faith that this game will improve and I will continue to play.

Great looter shooter
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fun 3rd person sci-fi shooter. Nice integration of 4-player multiplayer. Lots of customization options. Has the BioWare sci-fi flair. Lots of loot and gear to find and upgrade. If you love sci-fi action games, games like Destiny or Diablo, you will dig Anthem. Well worth it! I've played the Alpha, Beta, pre-release, demo, and this full retail release. It gets refined by the moment, with the first update released just a day after the retail release. Enjoyable game!

Anthem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a decent experience. Not as bad as many will make it out to be. The gameplay is fun and it has a good foundation. Just needs more content.

Good game but end game isn’t strong
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a great game and fun to play with friends but they still have a lot of bugs to fix and the end game there’s just not much to do

A good start
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has great music, visuals, and the gameplay is quite fun. Taking flight offers something unique compared to other games. The main quests however are lackluster, and there are way too many loading screens. Hopefully the game gets improved in the near future, as BioWare is redesigning the game.

Good fun, especially not alone. Be ready to wait.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although they have improved it, load times are the biggest issue with this game. The gameplay is immersive and fun. It is really designed to be enjoyed by a small group of friends. Even one, make it better than solo play. Also, I like that it isn't focused on PvP, but on more of a RGP/Mission-based approach for upgrading your character(s). I mean who doesn't want to be Ironman, mixed with Thor, etc.

Sometimes great always frustrating
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They got flying like Iron Man perfect, (except for overheating mechanic where you rubber band all over the place) everything else from the odd single player story you actually are encouraged to play co-op (they treat your companions like they don't exist), to the repetitive missions which are either too easy or unplayable due to difficulty spikes. It doesn't matter which difficulty you choose, most "HARD" missions were a breeze then every once in a while you just get a mission where you are inexplicably one shot for an entire mission. Has 1 mission our entire squad wiped almost 15 times. Then there are ALL the bugs and crashes including one that I thought was going to blow up my XBOX. Hopefully they fix all this in a few months, I'll definitely try it again if I hear some of the fixes actually work but now it's a complete mess of a game and I'm really disappointed.
