There have been many travel shows that have come and gone but none to stick around or to have an impact on people as the No Reservations series. Now in its 6th season and still going strong, Anthony Bourdain offers his insight on cultures from around the world. What makes this show so popular is that Bourdain travels across the world with no set agenda. One will not become bored watching this show as one never knows what will come out of Bourdain's mouth. The cultures and countries that he visits will open a traveler's eyes. You will not want to travel the tourist path of cliche dining establishments and tour buses. You will want to discover the culture and country on your own terms. I highly suggest this to anyone that is a fan of travel shows, the discovery, food, or travel channel.

This show is sort of a hybrid cooking/travel show which walks a fine balance of both. He goes to many great places and talks to very interesting people, and gets to try a lot of food. The food is the main selling point of the show, with the gross stuff making for the best television. Would you rather watch a segment on a good hamburger or the reproductive organs of an animal... wait... nevermind. For a good price this is a good pick up for those who love travel and food. This show helped me identify Octopus Balls on a recent trip to Tokyo and that I should avoid them at all costs!
