Ha seriously tho this movie just has heart! While pretty much every other movie out there has some hard acting man or scary guy as a lead, here we have a character full of life but is scared of everything else around him. It’s got love, action scenes, a very heartbreaking moment and just a good story! I really love this movie. I was exited when I heard it was getting a blu ray release

I’ve Been looking for it for a while on blu Ray and Best Buy had it the whole time and I never knew about it till recently so I decided to buy it for myself for my birthday. Haven’t seen the movie in years felt good watching the movie again. So glad I now finally had it in my movie collection. This is a movie you definitely need to have.

It came out during the same year as Pixar's A Bug's Life and I believe both films are superb in their own right. Antz follows the life of a soldier ant and a princess ant of life outside the colony and into the human world. Looking for the perfect way of life, they just might find it only exist in oneself. Great AMAZING music score composed by Harry Gregson-Williams and John Powell. Many special features on making the film and animation. Holds right at the top with best films of 1998! Not released on blu-ray as of 9/15/2014 but dvd is till great and super cheap brand new!

While there is another 'bug movie' out there that came off a bit more polished, this one is still a great movie with a great story to tell. Don't miss it!

However, what I didn't like about it is the fact that they chose to include bad language in the film. Most kids movies these days can be vulgar at times, and they mostly all include crude humor...I believe so that the adults will want to watch it as well. But I was so disappointed that there were multiple times that the characters cussed throughout the movie.

Now that it's finally on Blu-ray, I have to say, the audio and video quality are both good. Not spectacular, but good. Would have been better if they released this on 4K + Blu-ray bundle instead, but this will do for now. Classic movie to me in the late 90s. Recommended!
