Customers are saying

Customers admire the 23" IPS LED HD Monitor's picture quality, affordability, and ease of use. Many also appreciate its color accuracy and sleek design. However, some customers wish it included HDMI inputs and built-in speakers, while others find the stand somewhat unstable. A few also noted that the advertised "bezel-less" design is not entirely accurate.

    Great IPS for Photography

After much research for an inexpensive IPS monitor for photography, I came across this one. Always the larger the screen, the better but for the space I have, this was the biggest I could fit. The colors and pretty spot on, so not much need to calibrate it really. I don't like that the power button is on the back of the monitor and so small and that the stand is the only way to use it (No holes to screw into a bracket but those tilt up and down) but for the price, I couldn't pass it up. Also since I am doing photography, I chose this one because of the matte screen. I wasn't sure about the AOC brand but no complaints yet.

I've been using the AOC monitor for a while now and my gaming skills have improved. The picture quality of this monitor is really crisp and clear. I love the way it is easy to setup and just start playing.

Great monitor for a good price

I am very impressed with the picture quality of this screen, the colors are close in accuracy and saturation to a plasma panel (a very good quality). The almost edge to edge design of the display is just icing on the cake. Though there is no HDMI port on this monitor, AOC was kind enough to include a dvi to hdmi cable so hooking it up to my PC (with only VGA and hdmi video ports) was not an issue. IPS is the way to go for the best picture quality that makes for a beautiful 1080p panel for a wallet friendly price.

This monitor was really easy to setup and provides a nice display. For the price I think it's an excellent value. I use the second screen for desktop work (making presentations, etc) and occasionally viewing videos and the colors have always been great.

I purchased this monitor to use as an "entry-level" gaming monitor. I guess its called entry level since its only 1080p (not 4K), its response time is only 5 ms (not 1 ms) and its refresh rate is only 60 Hz (instead of 120 Hz). However, this is by far the nicest monitor I have ever owned. The most graphics-intensive game I play is FFXIV, and it looks gorgeous on this monitor. My wife actually bought this monitor first for gaming and I went out and bought it too. So far no disappointment with these. Some may be disappointed in the lack of HDMI, which I admit is weird. It comes with a HDMI to DVI converter, but our PCs use DVI so we have no problems. There are no built-in speakers which used to be the norm for PC monitors. Honestly most built-in speakers are terrible anyway so why pay more for the feature? Hopefully this monitor lasts, because I like it so far.

Looks great from all angles and the display is perfect for the high-glare office environment. The only "quirk" was the DVI to HDMI converter, which works fine but I wasn't expecting it to require a converter - thought there would be an HDMI port on the monitor.

I hardly wanted to spend $1k on the apple monitor for my MacBook, so i found this. First, its 23" instead of 27", which fits better on my desk. Second, the brushed aluminum makes this monitor look premium. Glossy black is cheesy, so i wanted to find something a little more refined. Only has two inputs (no HDMI) so you may want a converter cable if you're using something other than a computer with it.

So, far it's been great. Easy setup (box includes cables) and nice picture. Just the right size for my desktop. Pictures look great on it. All in all I'm very happy with it. The only negative I can find is the on/off switch located in back of monitor can be a little tricky to find, but after a few times it's easy to find.

Order this for a pc build I was doing, and wasn't looking to spend a lot for a first time build. The picture quality is very good, and the slim design is great as there's not a lot of space available for were I have it located. It is a great monitor for gaming on a budget, and was about $40 cheaper then Amazon's list price. Also came with two different video cables which was nice and packaging was great.

It has great viewing angles and the colors look just fine. No glare is a nice step up from a glass screen, and it has a decent amount of hardware controls. Easy to put the stand on. 60fps on this thing looks really nice. No ghosting from what I can see. The size isn't so bad. The software on the disc that comes with the monitor is pretty useless, though; they don't even work properly. One's supposed to be a way to control the monitor with your mouse, or at least I think it is (poor documentation and explanation) but not all of the buttons on the program work. That doesn't really matter to me. The monitor itself works just fine. The stand is capable of being angled more than most monitors, which is very nice (just the vertical tilt, nothing else). Personally, the whole feature of being able to use the monitor without the stand is pointless. It looks best with the stand. BUT. The ONE problem I have is that my eyes are sensitive to light and this monitor doesn't get very dim to my liking on its own. The lowest setting is still too bright, so I have to either use my graphics card's settings to force it to be dimmer and with lower quality images. Or I can "wear my sunglasses in the night." Other than that minor thing, it's a good flat IPS monitor.

I went into this purchase knowing absolutely nothing about this company AOC. after getting it home and connecting it to the iMac as a second monitor I was amazed at the quality of the monitor. Downfall of this monitor for most is, it does not have a HDMI port, only DVI and VGA. For me that was not a big deal since I was only going to be using this on VGA since thats the only adapter I have at the moment for the mac's mini video port. I didn't see a point in purchasing a new mini video port that has HDMI for the mac at this time. On VGA connections I am getting 1080p at 67fps. just as good as HDMI. The reason I give 4 stars is due to the fact it does not have a HDMI port. If it did it would be a 5 star review. If you don't need HDMI and need a good monitor that won't brake the bank look at the AOC 12367F Monitor. I think you will be greatly impressed. It is a good purchase for your money but the problem with this monitor is its lack of brightness sure it has a lot of contrast, but its brightness really lacks and color accuracy is good not great or really great, but you are paying a low price for this screen, but I believe to look at higher prices monitors around $200 or more not in the middle or about 100 as you will not get much for those price ranges.

Really haven't had the chance to use it much yet to really check out the HD quality. But, other than that, it looks good and serves its purpose. I like the thin frame. It doesn't take up as much room as my previous monitor. It came with an HD to DVI-D cable, but I couldn't use it because my computer does not have an HD port. It's a good thing I had the cable from the monitor I was replacing.

Great picture quality, got two of these, not a single dead pixel. They have been great for video games and movies, or normal every day work. They can set on the base or without it, but unfortunate cannot be mounted to a monitor stand. Being LED back-lit, they use hardy any power and put off no heat.
